What should Krypton look like?

It should look Alien. But with Russell Crowe as Jor El, I think we're getting Star Wars.

As long as it does not resemble the cheesy pre-Crisis Krypton, then it will be just fine.

I put a few things together here. I hope you all like it.

I like.
403 Forbidden is cool.
And we get to see it twice, so double cool!

It should look like what the Earth might look like in the future. Not too Alien like the crystal city of Donner. Supes is after all "the man of Tomorrow".

Which is the classic Pre-Crisis Krypton...and it's the Krypton that Grant Morrison is bringing back as well.

If they're going in a completely different route, how about slightly Kamino-ish...

I think you can pretty much do any interpretation of Krypton as long as it's some sort of human city involved.

It could be more rural like this scene from The Time Machine.

Judging from Crowe's costume, it looks like Krypton will look medieval, maybe a more brutal landscape. I can imagine a lot of rock formations and caves etc. and things being a bit more rough.

Totally off-topic, but what part of The Time Machine is that from? I don't remember that scene at all!

I would be happy with almost anything that looks futuristic and has a small amount of crystals. Nothing like the Donnerverse where EVERYTHING was made of crystals. But a small amount for accent would be very nice...

Agree, I just watch the Time Machine and did not see this at all... Must have been a deleted scene...

Personally I would like to see a very Earth-like Krypton, full of life, but with clean, futuristic cities.

It should be the ice crystal planet it's known for, with a few rebooted, updated looks. I can't really think of a good comparison. But I like the whole crystal look, but for an advanced civilization, years ahead of us, they gotta be sporting some cool looks on the inside of These buildings/crystals...

Not a fan of crystalline Krypton. It looked like they just lived in caves on an ice planet. I'd prefer a more art deco inspired Krypton.

I would like to see a mix of starwar cities and crystals...

Came across a story this afternoon that warmed my heart. To hear that someone so revered and with such affection for S is working on the design of the film – especially the previously cinematically underused Krypton – is music to my ears.

It’s such an exciting opportunity to see a Fifth Element vs Blade Runner landscape (which has already been hinted at in the Las Vegas Expo poster) that I am a little bit giddy.

Approve of his appointment or not I firmly believe Snyder is the man to bring these visions to life. I’m confident that finally we’re going to get the movie, and the Krypton, we & S deserve.

Everyone else share my unbridled enthusiasm

Bad link.

This looks like the original Rubin interview which contains the MOS comments:

Other than crystals, I sort of don't mind the style they go for as long as it looks gorgeous, and the score enforces how majestic it all is (if that makes sense).

When I saw Thor at the cinema, I was in awe at how Asgard looked.

Green Lantern had no such effect :(

Krypton should be a technological wonderland and not a giant snowball.

I think it's gonna look like the original incarnation, from the early comics.

I'd like to see a mixture too- advanced cities within a more harsh landscape, with rocks, crystals and exotic nature.
