What Superhero do You Want to Be?

I'm not sure if there are any heroes that do this, but I would love to have the ability to manipulate air.

I believe Storm does to some effect & also Firestorm. The latter creates or manipulates the air or his surroundings to create other things.

yeah! i dig beast but no way would i want to be him all the time!( or any mutant with an obvious different visual appearance.) you would be at that food court in the mall just getting Mexican food and some high school kids would start throwing paper cups or something at you!..then you would get mad and rip them apart and all the people there would see you as a Bad guy or a Menace!!( then we get that "Sentinels" Bull&*&)
thats why i would be cool with being Johnny Blaze and turning into GR when you do something bad and burn those punk kids later!

Flight and super strength could come in handy but you'd have to have a sense of control over the latter so you're not breaking people's hands when you shake them or killing prostitutes.

Yeah, but it would only work if you're in the city or a downtown area. It would probably be boring if you could web swing but lived in the country or suburbs.

I try to pick powers that have a low adjustment time and an easy learning curve. Spider-Man basically just needs to learn not to (literally) flip out at every spider sense twinge and learn to control his strength.

Guys like Hulk or Superman are basically unstoppable monsters if you lose control even for a minute. Any telepaths would probably go nuts in weeks as they're untrained and there's really no one to train them. Reality Warpers (Scarlet Witch) would slowly lose sense of what reality is and God-like beings (Silver Surfer) would likely go like MarvelMan and lose connection to humanity eventually just taking over and ruling people like they were insects. Anyone with physical mutations (Thing, Beast) would be ostracized by society and no matter the good they did, would be outcasts until they died.

In the end the guys with tech based powers, no powers or just a bit better than normal have the best chance of not being driven insane or killing everyone.
