^as opposed to Robert Downey junior ,Michael Keaton or Halle berry who did?I thought Tony Lister( D-Bo in the Friday's movies) was a smuck til I saw him in TDK. I thought Halle was wrong for Storm, but she proved me wrong. My friend thought Eric Roberts was a has been till he saw him in TDK. I really don't think there's a "look" to playing a superhero, other than somewhat resembling the character and of course not being 300lbs.As for acting nobody knows what a person is capable of doing until they are called upon.This is all subjective,but playing a minor character i could see babe pulling it off.

But that's just my opinion. The reason I said "None" is b/c I don't like the idea of blindly casting someone into a role, based primarily on their looks. Which is what a lot of these threads do.

Oh yeah i agree with your choice for Storm. Halle wasnt the greatest she was just ok. I think Angela bassett was perfect for the role, but like my comic store owner friend tells me "well when you have your own movie studio you can".I know that i would rather see a Powerman Movie before i see a movie with any of the characters listed on here. ( except maybe Spider woman casue in that oufit she has. yowza) i usually don't comment on these who should play threads.i just added my two cents cause i dropped in a saw a half naked babe,can never go wrong on commenting on half naked chicks!

I liked Angela Bassett for the part maybe, 10-12 years ago. By the time the movie was actually made, I deemed her too old for Storm. Plus, "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" made her age difficult to ignore. Although...

the years weren't exactly cruel to her. But I wanted somebody younger.

Laura Prepon gave an outstanding performance in Karla, her portrayal of the serial killer was very chilling. Also October Road shows that she is capable of playing drama as well as comedy. So I can see Ms. Prepon playing superhero like Ms. Marvel or Batgirl

That's kinda how I feel Chris. While the juries still out on Batgirl (because I'd love for her to be done right) Ms. Marvel's to wooden of a character to have her own film and not well known enough to show up in an Avengers movie.
