However, it's not a patch on the Phil Collins "Gorilla" ad...

 
Never understood the Phil Collins Gorilla monkey either...What has it got to do with chocolate?
 
Nothing, I think. It's just the randomness/creativeness of the concepts that grabs/supposed to grab peoples attention IMO.
 
By then end, I'm like ''I want a drumming gorilla'' and I forget it's about chocolate.
 
It's not creative if it has nothing to do with the product whatsoever
 
My 'creative' comment was in regards to the concept of the ads themselves, rather than the product it should be promoting. As regards to the whole 'creativeness' issue, I agree with you.
 
I think we all need drumming gorilla in our lives.
