Peta wants Ben and Jerry's to use human breast milk

Who's more stupid, PETA, for their publicity stunt where they made an extreme/absurd analogy (as they've done before) to draw attention to their cause (knowing it was absurb, but using it to demonstrate how - in their opinion - using milk from cows is equally absurd), or the people who believe PETA is actually serious?

You realize this is PETA? The same group that protested against "road-kill" gummy bears. I think your condescension is uncalled for since PETA's insanity is a proven fact and who knows what they're being serious about.

I think most of us know that they aren't seriously actually considering this move (maybe, I mean... Animal activists can be rather bizzare), however a well-known organization that has special interest groups in mind should be prepared to be called foolish when they make suggestions like this. Whether they are serious or not.

We know that they want to draw attention to the cow-plight surrounding dairy farms and that this will rise interest (and maybe a new way of drinking milk. From the tap!) However tactics like this are complete and utter bullcrappery and should be mocked at all possible points.

Mockity mock mock.

PETA are clearly missing something. Why do chickens even exsist? To provide food for us. Why do cows even exsist? To provide food for us. What other use do these animals have apart from being eaten? Errrr thats right there is no other use for them. PETA are just a load of muppets, they should never be listened to.

Definitely PETA. When it comes to issues of serious concern, people shouldn't have to decipher between the facts and public bs. I know it sounds insane, but PETA should just try to present the facts and they'll probably receive all the support they need.

If they pull outrageous gags, people will lose respect, and it will hinder support as opposed to assisting in the cause.

That's unethical to humans. And humans are technically animals. So PETA is contradicting itself.

It's also incredibly disgusting and makes me want to vomit.

That said. Who would do the milking?

/raises hand

:o

Peta slaughters animals any way. So does anyone actually listen to them anymore?

And in no way would I ever eat ice cream made from human breast milk.

Peta slaughters animals? Where'd you hear that? Doesn't that totally go against everything those psychos rant about???

It's kinda funny when you think about it (I realize this will sound sexist, but is meant purely for humorous purposes only), who eats the most ice-cream, depressed women, however, if they're constantly getting laid to get pregnant they won't be depressed, thus, don't need to eat as much ice cream, so this plan may work since we won't need to produce as much ice cream, thus needs less milk, thus less women getting laid though, so we need more ice cream. Dammit! Doesn't work!

There are several articles floating around that show that PETA euthanizes 85% of the animals it receives or finds. Only 14% of them are placed up for adoption.

A couple years ago, some PETA members in San Francisco were arrested for illegally dumping the euthanized animals.

There are better charities to donate to regarding animals, such as the ASPCA, the Humane Society, and the North Shore Animal League.

If their shenanigans become anymore nonsensical, they will swear that Soylent Green is real and it really is made in China. :whatever:

What if it's just a satire? Maybe they're doing their own version of "A Modest Proposal".

Or maybe they're beyond irony or self-awareness, but it's still possible.

Brilliant! Call it "Yummy Mummy". Get the labels printed up. Let's go!

jag

I think we should just force every single PETA member to drink some fresh breast-milk, if they really want this to happen they'll do it surly. :D
