What the hell is Branded?

This Friday?

Guessing very limited release.

From what I gather it was brought to the states from overseas.

And the trailer premiered with TOTAL RECALL and hasn't appeared since (or to my knowledge - go to the movies at least twice a week)

 

I've seen it on the television a couple of times, it's existence baffles me.

 

I've seen ads for it. All throughout, I was never quite sure whether or not it was for real.

 

IMDB: "Set in a dystopian future where corporate brands have created a disillusioned population, one man's effort to unlock the truth behind the conspiracy will lead to an epic battle with hidden forces that control the world."

It appears to be a foreign movie. I presume it is a satire or parody.

EDIT: Actually that trailer makes it look like a take on They Live! where only the main character is seeing the invisible creatures...that movie was also a satire on capitalism/consumerism.

 

Wow the poster looks really interesting!

 

Will this be anything like Stephen King's Langoliers?

 

i saw this trailer today and was like WTF???? why have i not heard of this??
