I've heard of the word "bromance" for a while but I don't care for the term. What really gets on my nerves is when people say "my bad". I cringe everytime I hear it.
Bromance sounds about as bad as "Frienemies"

I saw the promo for the MTV show. Looked pretty gay.
I know. It's rapidly getting tiresome.
I got bored so I counted the number of times you've posted in this thread. For someone who hates the phrase so much, you like it enough to discuss.

Harry Potter and Ron Weasley
Horatio Hornblower and Archie Kennedy
Jack Aubrey and Stephen Maturin
Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee
Of course, all of the above could be interpreted as "inseparable bonds between heterosexual males", or "sexually ambiguous relationships with thinly-veiled homosexual undertones"![]()
Dont forget Dr. John Dorian and Dr. Christopher Turk!
Same. Z Z Z Z...This thread is the first time I've EVER heard of it, and I'm ALREADY bored of it.
I keep hearing this catchphrase being tossed around in the media, and there is even a new MTV show called Bromance coming out, which I would rather not get the gist of. Apparently the online definition is the inseparable bond between two heterosexual males. OK. Is this the first new 2009 saying that is getting old before its time?
I wanna have a bromance.... I guess you have to be a bro to though, huh![]()

You could have a homance!
That's right. I just coined it. Don't you forget it!
Gay men can be hos.but that would mean I'd have to have a friend who was a girl... and I don't really like girls. They annoy me
