What the **** is a "bromance?"

It's ******ed like everything else on The MTV.

That's right, Carson. You too.

I've heard of the word "bromance" for a while but I don't care for the term. What really gets on my nerves is when people say "my bad". I cringe everytime I hear it.

Bromance sounds about as bad as "Frienemies"

I hate that word. You cant have both. You're either their friend or their enemy. There is no middle ground. Maybe it's because I'm a guy that I dont get it... I dont know.

I got bored so I counted the number of times you've posted in this thread. For someone who hates the phrase so much, you like it enough to discuss.

I think he's trying to get his post count up to 1,000 by the end of the week. :lmao:

Hooded got banned? Looks like justice just got served!

He got banned?! I didnt think doing 500 posts by the end of your first week was ban-worthy...

Bromances lead to horrible things:

Harry Potter and Ron Weasley

Horatio Hornblower and Archie Kennedy

Jack Aubrey and Stephen Maturin

Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee

Of course, all of the above could be interpreted as "inseparable bonds between heterosexual males", or "sexually ambiguous relationships with thinly-veiled homosexual undertones" :cwink:

Dont forget Dr. John Dorian and Dr. Christopher Turk!

It's when guys make out with eachother and try to act like it wasn't gay

I wanna have a bromance.... I guess you have to be a bro to though, huh :(

I keep hearing this catchphrase being tossed around in the media, and there is even a new MTV show called Bromance coming out, which I would rather not get the gist of. Apparently the online definition is the inseparable bond between two heterosexual males. OK. Is this the first new 2009 saying that is getting old before its time?

I actully heard it about 2 or 3 years ago. Its just one of those things the media are only just picking up on. Like when they started using BFF.

You could have a homance! :D

That's right. I just coined it. Don't you forget it!

but that would mean I'd have to have a friend who was a girl... and I don't really like girls. They annoy me

Hmm...well crap...

What should we call a guy and a girl that get along really well?

Someone should really make a word for that. :p
