Comics What titles affect/link with the Amazing Spiderman?

Hi Peeps

I'm starting to get into comics again but i''m only picking up trades rather than monthlys

I'm starting with Brand new day Spidey Vol.1 but I also get the New avengers and Mighty Avengers trades ('ve the trades from straight after Civil War so i'll read them first before Spidey)

My question tho is this I know that theres alot of things that go on in the MU that are sometimes reflected in other titles does this happen alot with ASM? should I be picking up any other trades other than the 3 mentioned to understand whats going on all the time? or will I be ok with just them 3?

BTW I also have the Secret Invasion Trade

Honestly aside from the recent New Avengers issue, no other series have a huge effect, or any effect at all, on Amazing Spider-Man currently since BND began.

Very true. Back when there was more than Amazing coming out monthly then we had , Friendly Neighborhood and MK Sensational Spider-Man that tied in with Amazing. New Avengers also ties in with Amazing but not since the JMS days when Peter and family were living in the Avengers HQ.

Go find X-Men/Spider-Man mini, not really affected by anything in current Spidey, but just a great series of stories and art.
