Since Syler killed both of Molly's parents, it is safe to assume that they both had powers. But what were they? I am thinking "freezing" cause he froze and broke the sword. And Telekinsis. Spelling is wrong, I know and don't care.

It's interesting you showed Sylar "making snow" this week, as we were just thinking about how he killed Molly's parents this week. We saw that Sylar killed her mother in a manner similar to how he killed Isaac (by pinning her down with objects); however, he "froze" her father and scalped him. Are we to assume Molly's father had powers and her mom did not? Is there any chance we might learn who Sylar took the freezing powers from (even though they're dead)?

Not any immediate plans. No. But great theory on Molly's parents.

Sylar got telekinesis from his first victim (can't remember the guy's name), not Molly's parents.

If we're picking teams for hide and seek I pick Molly Walker :)

what if they didnt hav powers but he killed the wrong people looking for molly?

That's a possibility. It probably explains why he came for Molly in the FBI building. He'd realized that he ****ed up and ate/or whatever the wrong brain.

i can't remember, was the mothers head cut open, too, or just the fathers?

cause, i was thinking, the way the mothers body was pined up against the wall, i wonder, if maybe she might of been fling
(in stand of what most of us assumed that he was holding her up with telekinesis, or whatever)
I mean, think about, she tries to either fly at him or away, so, he sends a bunch of sharp objects at her to stop her, pining her to the wall

I keep thinking that Sylar has some enhanced strength and not soley telekinesis that lets him lift people so easily while still holding them by the neck. I could be mistaken and there might be an interview out there saying that he only uses his TK in those instances, but otherwise, I don't think it's out of the question at all to assume that he has some superstrength.

Perhaps he got it from Molly's dad.

I think Molly's dad had freezing powers. That's why he froze the body. As a sport of test drive.

The way her dad was frozen, in place and still apparently in the middle of his meal at the dinner table, makes me think that Sylar burst into the room quickly and flash froze him on the spot before Daddy even knew anything was happening.

That, or he burst in and sliced the top of his head off before he knew anything was happening.

tactile telekinesis

Thank you for the useless post.

it's as useless as you make it out to be.

Sliced it open, scooped out the brain, and absorbed his power before the body even fell face-first onto the table or dropped his spoon or fork, or whatever utensil the body was holding in that shot?

Personally, I think it's safe to say that Sylar acquired the cryokinesis before the Walker incident.

It's as useless as a couple words that answered nothing and remained closed minded to even the possibility I presented; in fact, it said what I had already said in the post you quoted, but I asked to suspend that common belief to the thought that he might have enhanced strength.

So yes, it was completely useless.

An explanation for everything you think gives him superstrength, and you have no evidence to support your claim. You just mentioned tk, so I specified that tactile tk pretty much explains how he can lift people, remove skulls, survive a fall from a great height, and deflect bullets. You didn't offer anything to support your claim. Please, try and refrain from being an ass.

I wasn't trying to present proof of any kind, but merely the possibility that his lifting people by their necks and swinging around a parking meter might not be just telekinesis. As you seem to wrongly believe, I don't think that Sylar has superstrength for certain, but I'm simply open to the possibility and wanted to share that thought.

And please, enlighten me on how I was an ass (considering you've started the derogatory names first), aside from calling out a useless post as such? I acknowledged that it most likely is just telekinesis and you strangely felt the need to repeat that for some odd reason with no other thought put into furthering the discussion; so how wasn't your post useless?

Now I'm being an ass to someone who deserves it.

I wasn't implying that you believe he has superstrength for certain. What you explained was an idea, and I offered another one. Alot of people assumed Sylar had superstrength of some sort, including myself some time ago. Now I don't think he does. I think he uses tactile tk, which is not quite the same as general telekinesis from what I understand. Then you said my post was useless when it's in line with what everyone else is offering. You didn't present anything to refute it. You might not think it was being an ass, but it's rude and, you know, unnecessary.

And calling me an ass was necessary?

You offered no discussion. Just two words that flatout denied the possibility of my idea. What kind of response was expected?

And calling me an ass was necessary?
Your response was offensive. I didn't respect you prior to that. You don't understand why I might calling you an ass was necessary?

No, you didn't think there was any discussion to be made because it denied the possibility of your idea. You can think whatever you want to think, but if all your offering is "I think it could be superstrength just because" then your post is as useless as mine.

No, that is not why I thought there was no discussion to be had. I'm more than open to exchanging ideas and debating them with people; I enjoy it quite a bit. But if you wanted to discuss it, then why didn't you write something more than just two words, without elaborating on them at all (at that time)? With just a two word sentence, it seemed as if you were only interested in flatout denying the opposing idea, instead of having a conversation on the subject. I'm sure you can understand how I could've thought that you weren't up for discussing the issue at that point.
You can think whatever you want to think, but if all your offering is "I think it could be superstrength just because" then your post is as useless as mine.
But now that we've elaborated on our original posts more, it is a decent exchange on the topic (aside from the original misunderstanding). Sure, I don't think we really changed each other's point of view about it either way, but the aspects have been talked about at least, and that's all anyone can ask for in any conversation.

You don't understand how I could've thought your post was useless and closeminded at the time?

well it's hard for me to imagine because I know I don't have all the answers. Only the people working on the show do(even though I think they halfass sometimes:o)

Also I meant "disrespect" you in the previous post, lest we get into more misunderstandings.

eh, it's lazy but I expected you address your opinion on what I presented and how it related to what you're saying. Not...this. I think your wrong, but you're free to express your point of view.:o

sure. In fact both ideas can be sort of reconciled. It was seeing supserstrength and telekinesis in the same paragraph, that made me decide to bring up tactile tk since it's an ability that mimics superstrength, and is more in line with how Sylar makes use of his powers since he mostly relies on tk anyway.

Sylar might've gotten that weird voice thing from Molly's dad as well. Maybe it actually does something other than just sounding creepy (puts people off balance or something wacky like that, I dunno).

I think Kring said somewhere that it was just the effects guys trying to make him sound scary. Which is pretty dumb considering how similar it is to Eden's persuasion voice.
