Alot of people didn't like him.

I thought he looked cool and everything.

What was wrong with him?

The problem was, I think, more of a fanboy situation. Unless the character is an exact cutout from the comics, some people will raise up a huge fuss about it and nothing can placate them.

He was all right, but the only problem I saw was that him and Wolverine did not share a lot of history in the movie, considering how far they supposedly go back in the comics.

There was a cool comic made in 2003 based off the movies with Wolverine and Sabretooth looking for there past.

It takes place after X-Men and before X2.

Good comic.

The problem was a) the costume and b) the fact that they alluded to him being smart, cunning, knowing Wolverine and being everything he was in the comic but never went anywhere with it. Their were only vague hints of who he was, other than that....if they had just DONE something with him.

He was like a mindless huge idiot like Bane in B&R.

At least Sabertooth had some on screen personality

I kinda liked him as a silent brute, and they did hint at a Wolverine connection, they just didn't come right out and say it. Yes, they could have fleshed it out more, but it still worked.
