We all know it: Frank Darabont is a brilliant and skilled director. He has made 3 of my favourite films, including my number 1 favourite film of all time, the glorious masterpiece "The Shawshank Redemption".

But these days it has become rather quiet regarding Frank Darabont. Its been almost 4 years since his last major film (The Mist) hit theaters. And no new project has been announced so far.

So my question goes out to you, WHAT DO YOU WANT FRANK DARABONT TO DO NEXT? And, most importantly, WHEN do you want him to make another film, or dont you even give a ****?

Do you want him to tackle another Stephen King story or do you want him to do something entirely fresh on his own merit?

I for one would love to finalle see "THE LONG WALK" happen. What about you?

He's probably waiting for another hit Stephen King (or other) work to display his merits on.

Well, remember, he was spending a lot of his time developing The Walking Dead for television before he left the show last year.

You also need to keep in mind that before he did The Mist in 2007, his last movie before that was six years ago in The Majestic in 2001, so obviously he's got other things to worry about than trying to direct a movie every 2 or 3 years..

Still one of his best novels. Could be gold in Darabonts hands.

Darabont seems to take his time between projects. Green Mile came out 5 years after Shawshank.
