Seafood terrifies me. Well... the crab, lobster, crustacean part does. I think fish tastes nasty, as are scallops and oysters.

The purpose of Lent is get closer to God. It doesn't have to be something you give up, it can also be something you do more of instead like maybe visiting an elderly person you haven't in a while, just being nicer, or trying to do more for other people. That sort of thing.

I only give up meat on Good Friday.

This year I'm giving up chips and nuts. Basically salty snacks. Which sucks cuz I'm flying to New York this weekend and I love airline peanuts.

Last year I gave up chocolate which was incredibly hard. Like 28 of the 31 flavors at Baskin Robbins includes chocolate in some form, I swear. The day lent was over I went to Cheesecake Factory and had a Godiva chocolate cheesecake. I came.
