What're you giving up for Lent?

See... I can't give up meat on fridays... or I'll starve to death!
No love for seafood?

Pancakes? One of my friends has a birthday that falls in the middle of Lent. One year, his b-day was on a Friday. He invited everyone to IHOP.

Seafood terrifies me. Well... the crab, lobster, crustacean part does. I think fish tastes nasty, as are scallops and oysters.
No, no love for seafood at all.

However... I do love pancakes... :awesome:

I have a slight issue.....Im a person who never gives up but im catholic and I'm suppose to give up something! Damn!!!
The purpose of Lent is get closer to God. It doesn't have to be something you give up, it can also be something you do more of instead like maybe visiting an elderly person you haven't in a while, just being nicer, or trying to do more for other people. That sort of thing. :)

I'm giving up running away from the police.

A word of advice if you're being chased by a police dog, try not to go through a tunnel, then on to a little seesaw, then jump through a hoop of fire. They're trained for that

In all honesty, I don't really have anything I could give up.

I'd give up Hype for 40 days. But alas, no sane man would do that.

I give up sexual intercourse for Lent, already have been for 21 years. :awesome:

Oh believe me, i know. I'm only joking around. I live with my uncle who is extremely religious and i went to get my ashes yesterday. If i went to visit a fellow hype member, would i get credit? :yay::cwink:

I'm giving up on belly button lint for lent. Wait, I'm southern baptist, we don't really observe lent.

I only give up meat on Good Friday.

This year I'm giving up chips and nuts. Basically salty snacks. Which sucks cuz I'm flying to New York this weekend and I love airline peanuts.

Last year I gave up chocolate which was incredibly hard. Like 28 of the 31 flavors at Baskin Robbins includes chocolate in some form, I swear. The day lent was over I went to Cheesecake Factory and had a Godiva chocolate cheesecake. I came.

In fairness, that happens to most people who eat at Cheesecake Factory, lent or no.
