If you win you tend to set what is good and what is evil for the following generations. While the otherside may have "fought fair" they don't tend to live to tell about it.

Janists are the only thing I can think of that are truly "good" as far as I could define that word. However they have had the benefit of largely avoiding conflict of all kind, so it is safe to assume what they consider "good" is not the product of whoever took power.
