What's the best amusement park in the US?

Never been there so don't put it down and it's not in Cleveland actually it's over in Sandusky

I've been there. My Ohio geography is shaky, and that was the closest thing to it I remember. That's why I said "Cleaveland Area". I think it's like 45 minutes away. I didn't mean it was in Cleaveland. I'm live an hour away from NYC, and I'm in the NY Metropolitan Area.

As I said, it has great, fast, big roller coasters, but they're just roller coasters. I like elaborate theme parks, and prefer designs and showiness over just big rides. Personal taste.

The problem with Cedar Point is... it's the only reason to go to that area. I'd love to go on its rollercoasters, but why go to Ohio?

I'm taking a day trip into Disneyland in August, but I'm going to Southern California for about twenty other things SoCal has to offer.

Question Answer: Um, depends on what yer looking for.

The best one in the Central Pennsylvania area is Knoebels Grove. It blows that shyte hole of Hershey Park out of the water.

I went to Six Flags yesterday. I ought to be a crime to have such a blast in one day. I took on the new Goliath, three times!

200 feet tall, 70 mph, 4000+ feet in length. I swear, I felt moments of zero gravity on this thing. Also, at one point I could not feel my face it was going so fast. At the day's beginning, my pals and I were the first ones on! I kid you not. Oh yeah, it has the most comfortable seats I've ever seen on a coaster.
I got on Superman: Ultimate Flight once, but it kept breaking down after the fact. Kryptonite?
Rode the Batman four times, in fact two of them were back to back. Literally, because late in the evening we got off, and there was not a soul waiting to get on, so the operator let us ride again. I met the Dark Knight himself too!

Wonderful day it was

I enjoyed my trip to Universal Studios in Florida. One thing I really liked, when waiting in line for the Back to the Future ride they had monitors up with entertaining clips about the ride. If you HAVE to wait in line, it would be nice to have some entertainment while there.

Cedar Point has 16 coasters, and it includes three of the top ten coasters in the world, including the Millinium Force, voted the #1 steel coaster in world.

Cedar Point, I guess.

That's the only one I ever really go to.

Yesterday, I saw some little girl go up to the dude dressed as Batman, and say "I'm your fan!" in such a squeal voice. Cute :)

disneyworld with universal a close second.. six flags over georgia is also fun

Immortalfire, you spelled "usage" wrong. :(

Does Six Flags have this? Does Cedar Point have this? I think not:

Is this the mountain at Wonderland?

Or is it the one at Disneyland?!

WTF?!

Disneyworld is awesome, although I would like to go Universal Studios :(

This is a thread about Amusement Parks, not which State they're located in. Cedar Point is the best, hands down.

Goliath? That's nothing - Cedar Point had a 205ft coaster in 1989. As mentioned before, CP has a 300ft coaster in Millenium Force and a 400ft coaster in Top Fuel Dragster.

Spend 3 days at one with your family and you'll see what I'm talkin about.:o :( :down

I'm going to do that in two weeks.

Luckily, some family friends, who happen to be my age, are going along:o

Great idea, they should have this for any ride that makes you wait in line for more than 15 minutes.

I've been to both Disney Parks plus MGM and Epcot,
Magic Moutain & Six Flags Over Texas
Two Sea Worlds (Orlando & San Diego)
Knott's Berry Farm
Lego Land (don't laugh, I took my son)
both Univerals and Marvel Adventure Island

my personal favorite:

Marvel Adventure!! My favorite ride being the Spiderman 3-D ride.:spidey: I got to ride it 3 times within 30 minutes (they keep forgetting to take our Fast Pass Tickets) :p , until the third time :(
