Nah, UK is a good country to live in really from what I read. Although they say London has a high cost of living, I guess that's the price of a good standard of life in that city.

London is ok, a little hit and miss depending on where in london and your preferences. I nearly bought up an apartment in Waterloo, decent ara, great public transport, not much trouble there. Plenty to do, very urban though.
