Brave New World by Aldous Huxley

You know, people kept telling me I'd love that book and when I finally read it last year I didn't much care for it. I liked Farenheiht 451 and 1984. I just didn't care for Brave New World.

Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. Haunting and very depressing. Now I'm working on The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo...films based on novels inspire me to read their original source material. :woot:

dead girl in love - linda joy singleton

finally finished the trilogy

Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness. Really short, but not an easy read.

That's a shame. It's one of my favorite books. But understandable.

Becoming the Natural: My Life in and Out of the Cage - Randy Couture

All I Did Was Shoot My Man by Walter Mosley, his latest Leonid McGill mystery.

Finished reading "Hawkwood and the Kings" by Paul Kearney. This book is actually two books pressed together into one and it does show in the pacing but over all it doesn't hurt the story at all. I'm definitely going to buy the next book in the series

Next up is either "Stealing light" by Gary Gibson or "Among Thieves" by Douglas Hulick.

A Game of Thrones.

Next up: A re-read of Crowley's Little, Big.

Dragons of Summer Flame by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. I'd say that at one point this was probably a trilogy that TSR told them to do in one book.

How was that? I've been curious about it.
It wasn't bad. The writing was really well done, but the story sort of went in a direction I wasn't expecting. It's much more fantasy-based than horror-based, which was interesting.

Sebastian Faulk's 007 novel Devil May Care. It was frankly quite awful. I read through it in one day, just so I could get on to reading a better book.

Yeah, I was pretty excited when Faulks was brought in to do a Bond novel (literary Bond nerd I am) but it actually turned out to be the worst Bond book IMO.

Though, the Caspian Sea Monster was cool.
