The Tomb by F Paul Wilson

True Grit by Charles Portiss

I started Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson, but I doubt I'll finish it. It's just not grabbing me.

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country by J.M. Dillard

Gregory Maguire's Lost. This guy wrote Wicked, and that was good. After that one good book, everything he's published is absolute horse crap.

Academ's Fury - Book Two of the Codex Alera by Jim Butcher

The Hunter's Blades Trilogy, Book III: The Two Swords by R.A. Salvatore.

2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke
The Book of Lies by Brad Meltzer
Outer Dark by Cormac McCarthy

The Monster of Florence by Douglas Preston and Mario Spetzi.

Don Pendleton's Mack Bolan/The Executioner - Renegade Force.

This time it's The Executioner going against sleeper cells of highly trained cops (some even SWAT) in cities all over the country who are taking the law into their own hands where they think the system has failed. Great so far, all the Bolan action you can handle, there's also the really well written parts for the rogue cops who really are killing bad guys for the right reasons, but skipping due process.

The Last Werewolf ~ Glen Duncan

Finished. It took ten days to finish (would have finished sooner if I wasn't working nine days in a row, going home late). I wonder if I've finally found my motivation to want to read again.

I liked it :o

Motherless Brooklyn by Jonathan Lethem

A crime novel about a hoodlum with Tourette's Syndrome. It sort of reminds me of the movie The Informant--the character's narration starts out enjoyably quirky, but amounts to something much deeper in terms of characterization. Lethem does a great job using the classic noir style in a modern setting. Excellent book overall.

Finished K-On! Volume 1.
Having liked the anime I figured that I should check out the manga source material. While I missed some of the moments that the anime added (like additional screen/panel time for Nodoka, and her awesome police hat) it's still a fun read.

Working on the second volume, and on the non-manga side, Delivered From Distraction.

it is abit old but the last book was "harry potter and the deathly hallows "
