Transformers What's the New footage on IMAX (Spoilers!!!)

My friends, we did it all through the making of the movie...should we try and guess what some of the footage would be?

So far I'm Guessing that a few of the shots are:

1. Extended Bobby Bolivia seen
2. Figeroa Dying bedside with Duhamel talking him through it.
3. Extended BB and Barricade fight scene
4. More Dialog when Optimus is introducing the autobots
5. We finally get to see what happens to Barricade on the highway.

Any thoughts out there?

Like others have said, the budget was tight, so i doubt any robot cgi scenes were cut.

I also hope that Barricade is indeed alive, as he's too cool to kill off so soon .

When was this announced?

I'd go for one to three with maybe a simple shot of Barricade(in Saleen form) simply driving away, no Prime-Barricade battle just him being a coward and fleeing.

A deathbed scene would NOT fit into this movie. That's all I need is another scene, like the "Jean Grey Death Scene - Man Hug Cry Edition" from X2. Eeeuck.

I don't want to see Barricade taken out, specially since in the comic movie adaptation they show Optimus beheading Barricade by tossing him into an overpass concrete wall. Stupid, and two beheadings would be silly.

I do wanna see an extended BB/Barricade fight though. I also would like to see more dialog in the movie between the robots.

Yeah i was kinda glad the movie didn't have the figeroa death scene, but as I remember it was in the leaked script...and one of the trailers had a small 3 sec cut of that scene.

I too would like to see barricade kept alive, and running away, but at least show it.

But the cut scenes may have been done purposely for IMax viewers, so people have something to comeback and see it again. I feel this IMax thing was a completely set up to make more money, even the timing of it coming out in theaters feel a set up or planned.

I have a question that hopefully someone can answer, is it only going to be on IMAX for that day/night or is that when it starts for a short limited run? If it's only going to be for that day/night I am going to be hounding my local IMAX theatre to prebuy those tickets.

Because they would not have scrapped any lengthy (10+ seconds) of robot battle for the sake of editing purposes.

Let me put it another way - with $150 million budget, they would not have wasted $3 million dollars on robot scenes they didn't want to use.

It is obvious that the film was cut. I am hoping they release a better version. The thing I didn't like in the film is that Ironhide, Jazz, and Ratchet didn't kill any of the Decepticons. I would like Barricade to be destroyed by Ironhide and Jazz in the extended edition.
Also I am hoping to see the extended scene Bay was talking about at the end of the film, that foretells the sequel.

Believe what you want. I honestly don't know, nor have I ever said to have intimate knowledge of anything "industry" related. Usually it's just called common sense. So for the few who lack it I'm trying to convey a simple message of "don't get your hopes up for noticeably more robot footage" that way there *might* be a few less people *****ing about spending extra money and only getting more scenes with mojo the dog and Jon Vought the secretary of defense.



We might get the ending mentioned a few months ago where we see Megatron's eyes glowing as he sinks into the water. That would be nice....
