Mine was where the most action take place, where superman saw the ocean and saw where the ground was cracking and then he made that herioc spin-around and then he used all his powers to save the city

that scene was freakin awesome

^That was a good scene, but my 5 favourite's were the plane rescue, Superman and Lois in the sky ("You wrote that the world doesnt need a saviour." Awesome line), Superman hovering over earht listening, when he goes above the clouds to charge up in the sun, and his unconscious descent from space, loved all those moments the most but there are others i love as well.

Awww...it's the flight scene between Lois and Supes. It was uncomfortable to watch, but they really look good together :)

I liked the scene were Jason kills that one guy with the piano. His use of powers was more of a reflex brought on by the thought of seeing his mother be hurt than knowing that he actually had powers to do something to save her. The kid killed the man in self defense but was uneffected by the thought that he had actually killed someone. This scene could have been a little more emotional if the kid had started feeling some remorse for what he had done & then he was consoled by his mother but it didn't play out like that.

Mine are when he's taking the island to space, hovering in space over Earth (thought it was poignant), the plane rescue and him saving the city.

MY favorite scene is the ending where the credits rolled.:p

when richard and lois was looking at clark and just wondering if he could be superman....clark goofy action was too funny to watch...

and the Plane sequence

My favourite was the final scene of the movie, where Supes soars into space, and flies around the world, and looks (smiles?) at the audience.

When Superman is getting the crap kicked out of him by Luthor and his thugs. It was so powerful to see Superman - such a powerful figure always - reduced to something so...pathetic, really. Yet, at the same time, it makes you really feel for him, and really hate Luthor for what he's subjecting him to.

Not my favorite but I really dig the scene when he goes to the fortress of solitude to find the crystals missing. He just looks so pissed. I want to see him trading blows with someone in the next movie with that same look on his face.

Lois says "Where are you going "after taking the Kryptonite out of his back.Superman says "I have to go back " he looks at her and Jason for a moment and flies away toward the sun.
After that the taking in of the crowd reation and the baseball stadium.

I like how he comes up from the ocean with the boat. The way the water crashes and then we see him. It was so cool.

I love just about everything in this film, so it's hard for me to choose any absolutes. Instead, here are some of them that really made me cheer.

1) The opening titles. this was my first Superman film in the cinema, and when that theme came on, and those credits rolled, I was like "Yeah!!!" Kinda ticked they cut an entire stanza from Williams' music, though. Nevertheless, I felt like clapping when that happened.

2) The crash of Kal-El's spaceship on the Kent farm. Martha's reactions and Clark being so worn out...it worked, 100%.

3) Superman's meeting with Lois on the Daily Planet roof, and their flight over the skies of Metropolis. It's a little too dark on the DVD (like some other select scenes), but I still grin my head off when I see it.

4) Jason figuring out Clark's secret; that kid was wheezing like crazy, and it was so hilarious. I laughed out loud when I saw that for the first time.

5)Richard and Lois discussing Superman and his history. I love Richard's line about the X-ray vision: "I'd have fun with that". :)

My fav scene is when Superman gets the kryptonian **** beat out of him.

I agree. It's a hard scene to watch. I've seen the film many times, but it's always painful to see him in that position.

My favorite scene (or moment) is the "Goodbye, Lois" scene on the plane. Turns me into a 12 year old girl every time I watch that. The performance, the music, everything in that scene is just sad, beautiful, heartbreaking, etc.

I also love the exchange...
--Were you in love with him?
--He was Superman. Everyone was in love with him.
--But were you?

Great stuff.

Yeah, I know I was the only one in the theater that got a kick out of that line. Something about Marsden's performance turned what's essentially a typical line into something really funny.

Yeah, definetely. Good stuff right there. A god like figure normally, getting the crap kicked out of him in a handicap situation.

When I got the dvd, I noticed a line of dialogue that is powerful that I didn't notice in theatres which really sums up this scene and situation. As Superman is being viciously dragged by his jaw, he screams (and it is muffled by the thug's hand) ... "I should've never left!!" That line really made me feel the scene more on subsequent viewings. It was one of the few times in the movie I felt there was genuine heart and emotion.

But, my favorite scene and most inspiring one to me, is still Superman first re-appearance with the crashing jet and space shuttle. It's ashame everything is downhill after that. I love how Clark disappears, and WHAM is going several times the speed of sound to catch up to the rocketing jet and shuttle. Very good scene. IMO, the best superhero action clip for ANY superhero movie.

Mines are the scene when he pull the boat out of the sea and the love scene.
