I have a theroy that all comic readers have at least one bad book in they're file....so whats yours?

For the longest time mine was Uncanny X-Men. I started reading when Casey and Churchill started so I suffered through Austin and Clearmont.

For a while it was JLA...the last couple of years before the relaunch.

...I have a "New Kids On The Block" comic book--I didn't buy it or anything. It came with my grab bag. And I haven't read it, don't think I ever will. Maybe I should just get it over with.

the last Venom series...it was awful, but I knew it would be cancled, so I just got it all...same with Nick Fury's Howling Commandos, and the current Blade series

Flash, and to a lesser extent, Green Lantern would probably be my two.

I also get Robin which gets pretty trashed by people, but I like the book, myself.

Robin is the book! people don't know what they be talking about.

Really? Not into Green Lantern?...(I'm a little behind so please no spoilers)

I used to have a lot of crap in my file, but recent budgetary constraints have forced me to ditch everything except the stuff I really, truly enjoy.

I read a lot of Malibu comics in the 90s. Comics like 'Sludge' and 'Solitaire' now languish in my comic boxes with no value, no re-readability, and I don't have the heart to get rid of them. They remain as a warning...

Unfortunatley I fail to heed the warning and I now own a very large run of Uncanny, including 'The Draco' aguably the worst X Men arc/story ever.

Looks nice on Austen's résumé, though, right next to "Ice," arguably the worst Captain America arc ever.

Speaking of Cap, here's a black sheep situation for you: I actually enjoyed the Cap Wolf arc quite a lot.

Flash and GL, even though I like the GL title, but hate Hal.

I originally meant that fans buy at least one book (a monthly) they know sucks and what was yours....but I guess after a while it adds up so hearing what stuff people have bought over the years is interesting too....

OHHH, now I get it, sorry. I didn't find Teen Titans issues 27 and 28 to be bad. Also, I collected most of Peter Milligan's X-men run, and I loved it.

No man it's cool. Like I said..its fun knowing what crap people have in they're longboxes as well.

I was buying Milligans X-men too. It was crap.

lol. to each his own.

I have this rock n' roll origins comic that covers Bon Jovi. I found it for 50 cents in some clearance box.. Worth every penny.

Milligan tricked me lol....I read some of his stuff and liked it (flowers for rino is one of the best stories out there.) and when I heard he was going to be doing X-Men I was interested...it was bad. And I knew it was bad and there wasn't going to be any good in sight lol. Thankfully Mike Carey's taken over and seems to be a writer who can delivere consistantly.

I remember whe Ultimate Marvel first hit the shelves, I was totally into it. I reread a bunch of the ones that I got recently, and their pretty bad... and Ultimate Marvel Team-Up is pretty much unreadible.

Supergirl

But seriously..if I didn't have her..who would I complain about? :csad:

Nextwave.

I'll get the rest of the issues just for the sake of being an anal completist. Won't be f***in' with the future mini-series.

Virtually all of Dark Horse's Godzilla comics. I was also a big reader of Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog comics when I was in junior high (though some of those weren't half bad, but c'mon)

But Godzilla vs Charles Barkley is a classic.

X-Men during part of Peter Milligan's run, until I dropped it for Ultimate X-Men.
