Blade vs. Nomak was from BLADE 2, yeah? It's been a while since I saw that one. Any battle that relies on WWE moves loses points for me. That's just shameless kid pandering.
Some good brawls there, and Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock was a beaut, but in some ways I still prefer Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin. It was the first Spider-film so it was still rather trippy to see something that wasn't animation. Dafoe made for a creepy Goblin and while Doc Ock was plenty dangerous, Goblin naturally had that grit, that personal-ness to it. I saw both flicks in the theatres 5 times and I am convinced that because Goblin was less sympathetic, the audience sort of rallied against him more, like in a TMNT film against The Shredder. Their final battle after the bridge was just dark and brutal for a "mainstream" superhero film. The grenade to the face, the hard punches/kicks, and then Gobby's vows to murder Peter's love "slow and painful". The audience nearly erupted every time Spidey started to rally by crushing him with that wall. Plus, as the first really big blockbuster with NY themes after 9/11, I think we all collectively needed to see an iconic hero triumph over evil. I pick that.
Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock was also rockin', and had more CGI, so I'm not surprised it's winning the vote.
