It's weird, some are arbitrarily given so called "corresponding celestial bodies"
e.g. Leo = Sun symbol, Aries = Mars symbol, Pisces = Neptune (I guess that makes sense cause fishy) etc...

The artist (Sal Buscema)? seems to have arbitrarily gone with the Zodiac symbol for some and the celestial body symbol for others?
So maybe that's the moon symbol they were trying to convey, don't know why they added the line to make it a "D"?

Just...no......I was born a Sagittarius, it's staying that way.

Oh good more confusion for me. My b-day is Jan 20, growing up, the newspapers or any other medium I'd see them in, my sign is/was Aquarius (January 20 – February 19), but Mexican papers or other mediums that my mom would get would always say I was Capricorn (December 22 - January 20) with their Aquarius beginning on Jan 21. So I was always confused, but I guess I went as Aquarius since I only read the English papers.

Now they want to confuse me some more???

Which is it?

The Earth is constantly moving around the Sun. It does speed up when it is closer to the Sun (January) than it is furthest (July), but it never comes close to stopping. Therefore, when the Sun crosses the boundary of one constellation into another it is an instant. If you were born right before it crosses a boundary, which in this case would be on January 20, someone born one minute later would be under the next sign. To know the proper Zodiac sign, you would need the date, year, and time you were born to check where the Sun was at that specific moment.

For example, at 2 AM Universal Time on January 20, 2016 the Sun was in Sagittarius. At the same time and date in 1976, the Sun was in Capricornus. At 2 PM Universal Time on January 20, 2016, the Sun already passed into Capricornus. And yes, the name of the constellation is Capricornus, not Capricorn.

The Moon is the same way. The Full Moon, for example, doesn't occur on a day, it occurs at one particular instance in time. The next one occurs at 12:23 AM Eastern Daylight Time on October 16.

Since astrology is made up, and everything about it is made up, I can't imagine it mattering to anyone that their (made up) sign is now different. Just pretend it's the same as it always was. They were already pretending their "sign" meant anything in the first place.

It's like worrying that you'll lose contact with your imaginary friend when you move to a new city.
