When does Breyfogle get his collection?

I don't think you're going to get a lot of people to agree with you, but I do enjoy Breyfogle. But, this was the period of my life that I was most into the books, so his art has a nostalgic effect with me.

I don't think you're going to get a lot of people to agree with you...

Sure about that? I was always under the impression that he was one of the more popular Batman artists. Certainly one of my favorites.

Hopefully NEVER!:cmad:
Are you dense?

I would love to see HC with Breyfogle art. His version of Bat-universe is definitive for me. Late eighties was such a great time for Batman. Propably the greatest. Ahhh, nostalgia :yay:

Breyfogle rules. Great artist.

What a classic image.

Breyfogle has stated on his forum that he and Grant won't be back on Batman anytime soon. DC just isn't up for it.
Honestly I don't understand why DC isn't reprinting ANY of these Breyfogle stories, they're great.

I agree. I love Bryfogle's art for nostalgia reasons, yes; but also because it's awesome. He's a very good storyteller, and his style is one of the coolest around.

I also believe the look of the 1990's Batman: The Animated Series was influenced by Breyfogle's art.

Breyfogle is one of my all time favorite Batman artists. I adored his work on Detective Comics in the late 80's/early 90's.

In my opinion, Breyfogle is in the top 3 Bat artists of all time.

If that's not a cool looking Bats, than I don't know what's cool anymore:

Breyfogle could've become an even popular artist if it weren't for those damn kids at Image comics.

For those of you not familiar with the guy!

We need Breyfogle back on Batman!

Here's proof!

I never quite got why yellow, purple or pink had to be a main color in every early 90s Batman panel created.

Still, the artwork's fantastic.

Batman looks slightly less bulked and more agile, in some of those pictures, the way he does the legs and feet are very interesting.

Recently I've been buying back issues by Breyfogle for under a dollar at comic book conventions, man they're great.

thats funny, he's an artist whose work I'm familiar with (I KNOW I've seen his name on a lot of Batcomics), but I've never taken note before. some of those pages are quite good, i'll have to go back and have a re-read.

He draws Batman a lot more like Batman Beyond type physique, which to me makes sense... I never quite liked Batman as a walking tank of a man, more like a track athelete body.

Those colors and the controlled inking thicknesses on Cobblepots's post are gorgeous.

Not only does he draw a good Batman, he draws a pretty good Bruce Wayne as well. He really looks like a classy businessman.

I love his settings too.

I love Breyfogle's work...

"The Last Arkham" =

Breyfogle is great.
Too bad that seemingly, he's been black listed
(by association with Alan Grant) by both DC & MARVEL.

He's one of the nicest and most professional talents around.
He sure know to produce awesome art on a monthly basis
(never ever missing deadlines, unlike other modern "pros").

I can't understand why both companies won't hire one of the
most popular & requested artists.
