When I Was A Kid...

when I was little I walked to school 10 miles barefoot in the snow up hill both ways and ate coal sandwiches without any bread for lunch and that's the way we liked it

did you read the first post dew this thread isn't about how it was better in our day ect its just about happy memories or interesting anecdotes from our childhodd

I remember when I was a kid and we got cable for the first time. I was addicted to MTV, you know, when it played music videos. I was a little kid and had a crush on Pat Benetar and Salt from Salt-N-Pepa.

Uh...huh.

and we had to cut ice from the frozen rivers and drag it down the mountain to have cold water to drink, and we all had to take a bath in the kitchen sink, which was ok for me because I was small but my grandfather was 900 lbs and in the summer he was known as Baby Bubbles the Fattest Man on the eastern seaboard, even though we lived on the west coast.
