Awww, that's such a cute story. Nice people.I had a green stuffed mouse made out of this terry-cloth type material. I called him Mickey, even though he looked NOTHING like Mickey Mouse. He went EVERYWHERE with me. I remember leaving him at the home of my folks' friends we were visiting when I was around 7 years old and coming UNGLUED in the car because of it. They had to convince me that Mickey was taking his own vacation and would be coming home, soon, which bought them enough time to ship Mickey back to me. My parent's friends put a bunch of post cards from various travel destinations in the box with him so it looked like he'd been all over the world, which was pretty cool. Mickey survived various eye, nose and tail transplants over the years. I still have him in a box somewhere.
