Junfan said:Dvd's come out fast now.Usually 4-5 months.
is it possible that wb will put umd movies on hiatus but still publish the few they think will sell? SR seems like one that will sell with the mtv crowd, and I was hoping to buy it for my pspJunfan said:I consider both HD-DVD, they are both "high definition", I don't feel the direct need to differentiate.
However I will say I was a very big supporter of Sony's blu-ray for a lot of reasons, than a friend in the business told me a lot of the studios aren't really too big on it.
I lost a lot of faith in blu-ray also after he threw in my face Sonys failures in the past by trying to create their own media, betamax, minidisc, and soon UMD are all in the toilet.
Only thing that might save blu-ray is the PS3 IMO.

Or they could release a basic DVD earlier and leave a collectors edition till Christmas.
but the un-official DVD will not be the same qualityThe Game said:I would say 1-2 weeks before the film hits the big screen just ask for Mr Chang............oh we are talking about official DVD, er well....................(leaves)
SolidSnakeMGS said:True, but let's see how good the movie on the DVD is first!
maninfridge said:blueray tech is all well and good but it costs a bundle in manufacture costs and sony have also just recently another shed load of cash to those costs so if it doesnt take off they are looking at a massive loss and the price of the PS3 will be a lot we could be talking $600-$700.
