This isn't new news or anything, we already knew that it was listed as coming out December 4th in the UK. It's odd how Amazon UK is using a fan poster mad by somebody on these very boards as the cover art for one of the DVDs.

Buying reviews. In fact a few studios wre busted in the 90's for making up critics and reviews. Bruce Willis also came out in an interview in Rolling Stone I think and said that there is a secret that critics will get together and decide to give a movie or a star good remarks when they don't deserve it, and also to bash a movie or a star as they feel the star has gotten too big for his britches. I think it is an interview from 1995 or 1996. I swear it was in an interview in Rolling Stones magazine, but it might have been another magazine.

Highly doubt it's a conspiracy as well, loved the film- 9/10- so, can't wait for the DVD.

fake reviewers I've heard of.... I saw a news report about it one day. You knows those posters that say "The best movie of the summer!" on them sometimes? Well the news report was about a critic who gave some rotten movies lots of praise all the time, so it became apparent that his reviews were paid reviews and he was I think kicked out of the critics club or something, not sure.

Business. That's all it ever is, is business.

I find those posters that have no critic statements funny, I mean- if it doesn't have a critic statement, that must mean that film (a one that didn't get any critic reviews on its add) must really suck... lol.

No. In Europe (and pretty much the rest of the world) the dating goes Day/Month/Year, So 4/12/2006 = Dec. 4th 2006. Not April!
