When should the teaser come out?

I think they need something for Comic-Con even is it's a teaser just for that. Bryan Singer presented a pretty good one for X2, despite only being a few weeks into production. By July, Wolverine should be in post-production so there should be plenty to work with.

 

Correct me if im wrong, and i could be. But if this movie comes out May 2009, why do you have winter 09 as an option. Wouldn't that be after the fact?

And winter 2008 sounds like a good time to me. Summer is a tad early but hey I'd be happy if we got one anyway.

 

I bet you we see a trailer attached to another Fox movie, Hugh's "Australia" which comes out on November 14. I agree re Comic-Con too - would be nice if Hugh/some cast/director attends with SOMETHING.

 

Teaser around Thanksgiving maybe earlier, trailer somewhere between Valentines and St. Paddy's

 

In front of every movie I see between now and next May, just to make me happy?

Seriously, I think they should start rolling at Comic-Con. Best place to start.

 

I'm thinking the Winter 2009 option is referring to January or February of 2009.

 

I say Summer 2008 and I'm hopig this trailer will blow me away.

 

A teaser should be attatched to the dark knight. That would rule.

 

I think this Summer is a special opportunity to hit their main demographics in a huge way. You have Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, amongst other major comic films, and then you have Comic Con.

They should take advantage of the opportunity, imo. Give us a tease a year in advance, and then do a formal teaser trailer (with more footage) in Fall/Winter with Australia or something.

X3 was originally going to have an cgi teaser a little less than a year in advance (the jet flying into D.C - as seen on the DVD) but they decided to wait till December and release the 'announcement' trailer with actual footage.

 

when its ready id rather they concentrated on actual filming than advertising at this stage id like to see gambit and deadpool in a picture teaser soon though

I should of figured thats what you ment. But I was thinking when winter actually starts, not months it runs through. And don't roll your fake googly smiley face eyes at me.

 

I say they'll show a scene or teaser at Comic-Con and a trailer around September/October.

 

Most of the big movie teasers come out in the summer with a big flick and a full trailer in the winter.

 

Filming is going strong, the movie is out for May 2009, so I think a teaser should be very feasible for June/July of this year...I'd say, if they can get a teaser out with The Happening on June 18th, that'd be great.

brief teaser in the summer with just a logo or something, but save the footage for a winter 2008 trailer....look what happened with The Dark Knight we got no footage until December and people (myself included) are still talking about that trailer, it was worth the wait

 

On May 22 along the return of Indy so that day can be even better.
