Sequels When should we expect the first BIG news?

There is no need to rush this guys... unless you can sign up this group for three more films (which we all know ISN'T happening) there is no need to go for an 09 (then 012 013 release of the sequels) like POTC or the Matrix... my best hope is that they bring in a new director and core cast for a 2010/2011 release... with sequels in 2013/14 and 2015/2016

But according to the Mayans, the world won't last past the year 2012... we can't have only four Spider-Man movies!

Hey Guys. I'm not sure if you would class this a big news but hear me out ok?
Some may believe me some may not but i swear what i'm about to say is 100% true.
So i was in the car today bored as hell waiting for my mum and she had some magazines in the back one of which was this weeks OK magazine. I was bored as hell and was having a flick through when i saw a part on Tobey Maguire.

It said and i quote.
" Tobey Maguire has already stated he has no intention of donning the Spider suit again but insiders are saying he's about to be given an offer even he may not be able to refuse. Studio bosses are said to be putting together a record-breaking $20 million pay offer (plus a share of the profit) to lure him back to make Spider-Man 4. Maguire was paid around $8 million for doing the third instalment."

All of the $ signs are meant to be pound signs but the key has broken on my keyboard.

hopefully soon, they will make SM4 because SM3 is going to surpass SM1 as the highest worldwide gross in the franchise. As if Sony can say no to the potential profit of SM4, even if it turns out really bad it will probably gross $450 mil worldwide easy.

If the trailers look good, Spidey 4, will be a hit. Pirates 3 just proved that! Most people hated the second film yet the third one is a hit. So, there's hope for Spidey.
