When's the last time one of your teams won a championship?

Pro sports:

Browns - 1964 (and many heartbreaks since)
Indians - 1948 (Blew game 7 vs Marlins in 97 :cmad:)
Cavs - Never won a title (Swept by Spurs 2 seasons ago, hopefully they win it this year )

College sports:

Ohio St. - 2002 (Game was played in 2003...Been to BCS Title game 2 times since and lost to SEC)

The Braves won the World Series in 1995, CC.

yeah i know, but it's been almost 15 yrs. all those years winning the division then falling short just sucked

but not as much as the last couple of seasons. i need atlanta to start being great again

None of my pro teams have won a title since I've been alive, so I don't want to hear any whining about a 15 year gap since your last :cmad:

In fact, my age can be doubled, and I STILL would not be old enough to have seen one of them win a title :down

Keep telling yourself that

You guys had so many chances to put them away even before that, but failed to!

Maybe so, but they threw the flag after the Hurricanes finally made a stop...way after...

Just sayin'

With how many bad breaks Ohio teams have gotten over the years, we were bound to get a break SOMETIME!

my uncle played for the Canes  so i have to like them

I would also add that while the Ohio St. title win is great, a pro title would mean more to me. College football's system of picking a champ is flawed, and while both OSU and Miami were undefeated that season, who knows what happens if they play the tops out of their conferences. The playoff system pro sports have makes the title more legitimate.

I will always remember and value that season, especially with how the Bucks won most of their games. But, I'd rather have a pro championship any day.

No kidding. When?

early 70s. maybe late 60's too. i can't remember what year he graduated hs, so i'll ask him when i see him next month

he still has some football records here

I take the Marlins over the Cubs by default. Ive been a fan of the Marlins longer. I felt bad for what happen to the Cubs on 03 but was excited that my Marlins lived another day an then won it all:woot:
