I don't think I would enjoy those visuals in a X-Men game.

Give me high budgeted mo-capped photo realistic X-Men game instead.

That would be cool. As much I have as I liked some of the recent Spidey games, I think I'd actually prefer if we got some games that were more stylized and comic like. Not everything has to be a photo realistic.

I agree. And ideally we could have different types of X-Men games too, like a fighting game.

The sad thing is we cannot have it due to the rights.

I'm hoping Marvel Rivals is fun and will be filled with mutants there.

Does the Division even have a story campaign? Something like GTA V and Watch Dogs Legion with several playable characters would be my template for an open world X-Men game. Though an open world X-Men game would be hard to pull off.

I'd use X-Men Legends I and II as my main inspiration, but this time with third person camera perspective and cut scenes that look similar to gameplay graphics. Those two games had a solid skill set and I wouldn't complicate a new X-Men game with having 30 skills per character. So about a dozen skills per character (that can be improved from level up points) would be enough. Then alternate costumes/collectibles/skill boosters scattered in the game world and some locations that can be revisited during down time, and some side quests that aren't required to be completed for the main story campaign.

We're going to have a very limited number of characters to pick from, I predict. Hopefully Insomniac can choose wisely.

On another note, I wouldn't be surprised if Insomniac announce a Deadpool game after Wolverine.

A solo X-Men game is just not interesting compare to a full X-Men game. If we are lucky, Wolverine is out in 2026 and X-Men come out 4 years later.
