Now that season 3 is over, season 4 is on the horizon. Volume 5 is titled Redemption, what will this mean for the characters? Lets hope its redemption for the show as a whole rather than the characters. Speaking of which we will see where our characters go from here:

Nathan: Dead...we'll see if this sticks
Peter: Seems he still only has one ability at a time. Could redemption restore his abilities to full strength
Angela: She knows what they did to Sylar, and the truth about Nathan, and from the end of volume 4 its seems Sylar is still in there
Sylar: His mind wiped, and convinced hes Nathan Petrelli. I think we all know this wont last
Noah: More lies to Claire, and a marrige to try to fix, i'm sure his hands will be full
Matt: I'm sure we will see hom try to rebuild his family. But how will the guilt of what he did come into play?
Mohinder: Will he find peace, make up for the sins hes commited?
Ando: Will he be taking care of Hiro, will they remain partners?
Hiro: Will his power kill him? Can he learn to overcome it?
Claire: She believes Sylars dead, where will she go from here? School, or will she still want to make a difference?

Sylar has healing powers. He will just heal his brain like Peter did in season 2 to get his memory back.

But I really don't care anymore. I lost a lot of interest in the show during this season.

I mostly just watch out of habit.

Sylar - He finds out he's Nathan a few episodes in. He turns on all of the Heroes and makes them wanted men again because they stupidly gave the psychopathic serial killer the highest ranking position out of all of them. Sylar will run for President because 5 Years Later blah blah blah

Tracey - She will experience the fate of every villain whose name doesn't begin with "S" and end with "-yler".

Claire - She will find out the truth about Nathan and be mad at her parent for lying to her again.

Peter - See Claire. Also will have another non-showdown with Sylar.

Matt, Mohinder, Hiro, Ando - They will really have no reason to be in the main story but they'll find a way to squeeze them in so they won't have to create new characters and make us care about them.

MIA characters - They will continue to be MIA.

The Viewership - Another couple million will stop watching.

Peter-I think hey'll have to deal with sylar the most.Maybe hey'll have to play mind games with Sylar and vice versa. I also think hey'll have to try and convince the others Nathan isn't really Nathan.

I am wondering Nathan/Sylar will separate bodies or something. Maybe acquiring the DNA to shift into him will have something to do with it and there will be a Nathan clone. I am thinking that Sylar growing that extra tooth maybe a clue to that happening. Who knows.

Pretty spot on. There's really nowhere else to go. The only way to save us from this fate is for them to start introducing the new characters.

I'd like to see Ando take the role Hiro had in the future.
Hiro dies and Ando because a badass to avenge him.

My guess is, we won't go anywhere. This show will be cancelled about 8 episodes into the next volume like My Own Worst Enemy was pulled after 8. It'll be allowed to finish the volume, but that's it. The show is too expensive to produce for only 6 million viewers. NBC is going to change showrunners this summer, probably to Fueller and pray it helps...but with a serial it is so very hard to regain viewers. I think its over.

I don't see Tracey being a "villain". I'm thinking she'll only go after Building 26 employees out of revenge.

I kept saying the show was improving until I saw the season finale and where the next season is heading, so nope, you are wrong.

If the the only opinion you have to offer is an opinion on my opinion, then you, as a poster, are redundant and expendable.

My Review is simple: Heroes. Is. Back.

Anything beyond that will be simple ranting. I loved Micah's return. Even knowing it was coming didn't stop it from being AWESOME. Micah is on the level he should be given his age and uber power. I cannot rant enough about Tracy's send off. Even knowing that I'll have to see Ali Larter again didn't take the joy of any of it from me. It. Was. Awesome. The effect on the guards, how Micah ran. All of it was uber sweet. Ali even got a scene with Jack, which, iirc, has never happened before.

Angela is getting fleshed out properly. Just the way she walked was boss. We also finally got to see where she was coming from, what her goal was, and how far she was from it. She went from a shadow broker to a real character in about fifteen minutes of screen time. Perfect.

Even Danko seems worth watching to me this ep, just seeing him shave. Anything other than bust Nathan's balls with little more motivation than being a *****e. Now he has a shot at actually teaming up with Sylar instead of just being used by him.

Daphne's send off was great... glorious for a character so tragically broken from the first time she stepped on screen. Which reminds me about what I loved most about this ep: These people made sense. Their motivations, even if handed down ham fisted, were clear and made sense of an otherwise self-conflicting backstory, even, or perhaps especially characters who were about to die.

And did I mention that there were 2, not 1 but TWO deaths of major characters. And we're down two blonde girls... hopefully the showrunners figure out there are beautiful women with other hair colors.

And finally, if that weren't enough, Hiro got his powers back, had character development and ANDO went from sidekick to... partner might be the best way to describe it. They're still comic relief, and it may take some time to evolve from that, but in the meantime, they're still leveling up in awesome, if not badass.

Now if Hero gets his sword back and starts slowing down time in fights, I will lose my frikkin mind.

I haven't enjoyed Heroes this much since the episode before the S1 finale. I said it before, I'll say it again: Heroes. Is. Back.

Commence to dancing.

You're also wrong. Being able to tell the future isn't nearly as cool as being able to recall the past.

Edit: But that's just my opinion, isn't it? Why don't you tell me what you've loved about the show this volume? Perhaps there was something incredibly good that I've somehow missed.

Cancellation.

Get rid of everyone left and start a new cast with Tracy, Micah, and Monica as the only returning people.

Ouch. If they didn't make them likable in the first incarnation, I highly doubt they could attract enough attention to carry their own show.

I would love more about Micah. Volume 4 made him my favorite character. Probably because he was the only one who did something besides whine for most of the volume. Not to mention he's the only one who really does any hero-ing.

Actually if they made Micah a main I might keep watching. That is unless they ruin his character as much as they ruined everyone else's.

They'll make them main characters and then kill them all three episodes later because you know NO ONE CAN UPSTAGE KING SYLAR! ::barf::

I miss Monica and Micah's interactions with each other. They were great and genuine together and really exemplified what this show was about - ordinary people with extraordinary abilities. Monica was just a great character period cut short to make room for the stupid fans that wanted more Sylar, Claire, Noah, and Petrelli BS!

I don't freakin care about any of that bullcrap anymore, it's just the same crap but a different episode.

GAH!

They will just do what they do every season:

Sylar- he will regain his memory and try to kill everyone and slice and dice forheads open to feel special.

Peter- will be pissed at his mother for lying to him about his brothers death, will go after sylar, the two will fight (which we wont see)

Angela- will be apologizing to peter for lieing to him and trying to find a way to stop sylar.

HRG- will lie to Claire and family only to ahve it blow up in his face AGAIN and have his family hate him.

Claire- will go to school, figure out Sylar is actually alive and go after him and be useless

Matt- will be Matt

Hiro/Ando- Will go on some journey

Mohinder- just be useless yet again

Tracey- will probably get killed by end of the season.

You pretty much nailed each character, but I would expand on Tracey. She will be billed as the season's new big baddie, but will end up getting killed by Sylar who will ultimately subplant her as the seasons numero uno villain.

The big disappointment was not seeing the fight between Nathan & Peter vs Sylar. *sigh*

oh please no. I freaking hate Micah.

How is that not an opinion of an opinion???
You're a hypocrit and a jackass, figures...

It is an opinion of an opinion. It is not, however, ONLY an opinion of an opinion. I offered my thoughts on your thoughts about my thoughts on the show, as well as my independent thoughts about the show. That was my issue with your post, and it is the difference between yours and mine. It was an invitation to offer your thoughts about the show, about the topic. An invitation you still have not taken me, or the OP up on.

But you are right on one point, I am being a jerk about it. Hypocritical? Not so much.

Why do you think it "figures" by the way?
