The Dark Knight Where is BATMAN??

The only thing I hope for, is a change in the cape attachment. I want to see the cape wrap around his entire body when he is just standing on GCPD rooftop, etc. Very classic.

I Applaude you.

I've been waiting years for a director to do this. WHY WHY WHY haven't someone done this yet?

Come on Nolan do it. It the most iconic image of Batman.

Probably because it's not nearly as easy to do it in live action as some fans think. Batman Begins is the closest anyone has gotten to doing it yet.

should bale be bigger for tdk or the same size?
i thought his arms couldve been a tad bigger if he can knock out 7 people at a time!
for the heightended reality aspect of the movie!

I think he will be about the same size.

But its been done in Dracula and other vampire movies.

you know, its not that bad..its the mask..change that, and that will look not bad.

the only things that are needed to change are definitely the ears they are way too long and the belt the rest look cool.

Where is Batman? he's in Batcave kissing Rachel...

...so if he is changeing his suit to be grey, is it still gunna be that "military suit" cause in BB they explained pretty well how he get's everything, hopefully he doesn't show up with all new everything

ditto....The suit in BB was great....if they want a more fabric type of costume then thats cool just make it kind of think so it atleast looks protective and keep the EXACT same design it had for BB. Same belt, same cape and same cowl.

From what I've gathered, and I'm only in half-way on the stuff of TDK, so I might be wrong....

He gets the new suit about half-way through TDK. Something happens to his old one (the one in BB), and it's a pretty big and important something.

From there on in, he gets the new one.

Fropm what I've read, it's kinda a fabric-like material that is also sorta like chainmail. I dunno. I think it's gonna be a lightweight armor the Wayne Enterprises devolpes, Lucius Fox makes for Bruce, or even Bruce makes it himself. Rumors abound, but it seems to be based off the classic gray and black Batsuit. Think Batman: Dead End with a few million bucks for the suit...:woot:

Batman's in the kitchen...Robin's in the hall....Joker's in the living room_____

Anyone care to finish?

It's because a super-stylized shot like that would not fit with the look of the films.

no i think a cape that covers everything ala michael turner batman would be a pain in the ass to film but ofcourse its do-able. it wouldnt suit bale though... or maybe it would, what do i know?
BUT! when he's standing still, have it draped over him, in action they'd need to have it held back with little clips or whatver the movie magic people do! we're talking hundreds of millions of dollars, if they want it in the movie, they can do it, even the drape-cape. N

That is a nice coat...

In the early 90s, when I was living in San Francisco, I was on Union Street (a very ritzy street in Pacific Heights, filled with expensive shops and restaurants), and in an expensive clothing shop, I saw a KILLER black coat similar to this one. It was a light wool trenchcoat, solid black, with this interesting fluted stitching on the collar and lapels that looked not-unlike a subtle batwing motif.

It was dressy, stylish, quasi-futuristic... and it was over $200, and at the time, I didn't have the money to buy it. I debated about it, but passed it up.

Months later, when I had a big chunk of money come in, I went back in search of that coat... and both it and the store were gone.

To this day, I kick myself for not buying it, because it looked EXACTLY like a "Gotham City trenchcoat."
