I don't know if it ever was mentioned where Magneto has his lair. I'd like to know. Anyone?

Tijuana, Mexico. It's why in every scene, you can see him sipping a Corona Light.

It's that island that was used as a secret submarine base in Raiders of the Lost Ark

It's obviously somewhere just off the Eastern Seaboard. Within helicopter distance of Washington, probably. Who knows.

haha nice

no but seriously I do remember that they mentioned in Ultimates number 322 that it was in Peru but of course in Amazing X-Men (not AoA mind you) they claimed it was on the south side of the eastern seaboard. To make things worse, in Uncanny X-Men (and also later in X-Force #672) they claimed that it was inside a volcano beneath Beijing. This is very important information and it's hard to appreciate the story if I don't figure this out so please, somebody find out where the damn Brotherhood's official lair is!!!!

There are two of them. Asteroid M, and Genosha. Those are the only one's I know of. Hope this helps

It doesn't. There is no evidence of either place existing in any of the X-Men films, much less the first one.

in ultimate xmen magnetos lair is in the savageland right?

I know, but the question of the thread and the section it is placed within is the section dedicated to the first film. So the location of Ultimate Magneto's headquarters doesn't really factor in.

But so you know, Ultimate Magneto's first HQ was in the Savage Land.
