Where the Wild Things are.

This... looks... fantastic...:wow:

It looks like something pulled right out of Guillermo del Toro's vision... and that ain't a bad thing. I can certainly see this movie being a great achievement in live-action puppetry that I do think kids and adults alike will be amazed by. Can't wait to see this film(I think that it may have even jumped up to #1 for films I must-see film this year).

Great photos. So Catherine Keener plays Max's mom? I love her. And the monsters looks pretty perfect.

Something tells me WB is gonna have another fantastic and artistic film the general audience just isnt gonna get.

I hope you're wrong, but(unfortunately), I can see it as being exactly that. Parents these days feel like taking their kids to seeing stupid Adam Sandler movies and mediocre comedies that they're too arrogant to look at the films that featured a far greater imagination.

However, I do think that the teaser trailer with 'Monsters vs. Aliens' will really click in their minds when they catch it. Yet, some part in my body is telling me that this movie is going to do extremely well. Anyhow, let's just wait for the day to come, when we will finally learn the truth.

Well, they still make higher budgeted Oscar bait, so all hope is not lost that we always have to appeal to the Brondo/ "I don't wanna look at Blue Penis" crowd.

I'm eager to see the trailer for this...

I'm going to count on the trailer's release possibly a day before 'Monsters vs. Aliens' or possibly the same day as the film's release. Either way, I'm seeing it on the big-screen, this film is already worthy of it.

I can't wait for this movie to come out. The Images looks great and I hope it will be a little dark

Check this out...a 1983 animation test of what Disney was going to do with the property when they had the rights.

That was neat, it'd be nice to see 'Disney' expand on that test; if they ever get the rights back.

With the relationship Disney has with Pixar, and the quality of computer film making they do, I'd love to see this technique with what computers can do now. That test footage looked like it was on the right track to blend the two styles, but the computer animation part of the test looked so crude.

i say dont be suprised if this bombs. but dont be angry.some movies dont need to make 200 millions domestic.
i say respect for WB for making this kind of movie.

Obviously, the fall release date doesn't bode well, but I think this movie has a shot at being a success. This isn't one of those things that people have been clambering for at a fever pitch, but it should capture the public's imagination enough to put butts in seats.

I think it might do well simply because it comes out Close to Halloween and I think it could be a good Halloween Family Flick to see for the kids.

Like I've said all along, as long as this turns out just like Spike's original version and not the rumored studio "safe picture" edit, it will be phenominal.

Gah, I can't find this alleged teaser that was with Grinch. Sound cool though.

I've looked as well and can't seem to find it which is surprising because youtube has EVERYTHING. Heres hoping that closer to the release date someone unearths it.

Wow....that got me by the brain banana. :wow:

It has the feel of an indie flick definitely, but I think a lot of parents will get nostalgic and definitely want to see it. The kids will see the giant Things and be like, "cool."

Wow... that looks really freaking good.

to bad they didnt have any dialoge. just a little.

It's up on AICN.

This was made with the best of intentions but it is going to be a spectuacularly epic fail at the boxoffice.

Nothing about this trailer will attract kids, imo.

The kid in me is confused, while the adult in me is awestruck!
