Where the Wild Things are.

Ugh, I will be so pissed if they do anything to this...

I mean, come on WB, that's pretty much as perfect as you can translate this film.

Seriously.

Can you imagine all that potential wasted down to "Garfield" and "Alvin and the Chipmunks" levels...just because some kids got scared when they did that test-screening?

Did anyone see this, btw?

That's^ what Disney's version was gonna look like.

lol, "with the success of tron". damn that's old. kinda neat though

I REALLY hope this film still turns out ok. I want it to be dark and scary :csad:

The disney video looks pretty good and would have been interesting and innovative especially given the time (Tron?!? OLD)

But the book wasn't really all that dark and scary, was it? The only scary part I remember was when Max decided to leave the island and all the Wild Things had a **** fit.

New photo!

Are they edible?

I haven't read it in years, but I remember it being pretty dark for a children's book.

I don't think the problem is that the movie is too scary for children, just not tonned down enough for them. (Think the first half hour of Wall.E)

That's awesome, I love good old 2D animation. :)

I f***in' miss 2D animation, man... Like, yeah, sure all the Pixar stuff looks great and all, but awesome looking 2D animation is just so rare these days...

^Those are stunning. I can't wait till they finally drop a full trailer for this. Even if the story is weak the visuals seem like they will be well worth the price of admission.
