The interview with Spike with Drew McWeeney I posted a page or so ago cleared up alot of rumors about this project. Like that all the criticisms about the kids performance came from one psycho parent who's kid did not get the part, so they we're bashing the film on various boards saying that they seen a screening and the kid was horrible. And from what I gathered, the scary thing was overblown, and the script issues came down to fleshing out the beasts a bit more.

I think the that the parents were not used to 'indie' or dark type movies, and were expecting something else. You know how people are: People set themselves with disappointments.

Easily the best debut trailer of '09. Perfectly put together, even with so little dialog it conveys so much. I can't wait to see this, it's cinematography is beautiful too.

I heard that it was pretty boring. Like it was just shots of the environment and possibly a VO, I don't know. I didn't see it, but I've heard descriptions from here and around(don't ask me for the link, because 'Google' is right before your eyes, you lazy sons 'a guns).

^Yes, back when Universal had the rights to it. Never got fully made until the project switched to WB, thank GOD lol. Good luck if your gonna try to find it, I dug up ZILCH amount of actual footage.

You know, that teaser would make a nifty bonus feature on the DVD.
