1. Um, the Dakotas. Anyone who lives there has my respect for staying there. I traveled there to see Mt. Rushmore and drive through the badlands. The place does not have a pulse and the people there seem as if they're dead, but not fully aware that the demise has already happened. Seriously, it's like the 'Twilight Zone.' Although, the terrain is beautiful in some spots.
