Where's Nelly?

I can't say for sure, but it looks like Nelson isn't at the crimebusters/watchmen meeting? I guess Ole Nelly is a has been by this time? Just a little something diferent then the comic, but no big deal i guess.

Yeah, Captain Metropolis doesn't call the Crimebusters meeting in the movie, it's Dan who does it. It fits his character well enough, as long as they change the board to remove such "problems" as black unrest and promiscuity.

Apparently Nellie was at one point not even going to be the movie, but they added him (and Hooded Justice) to the Minutemen meeting at the last second.

I think it would fit better if Ozymandias is the "leader" of the Crimebuster meeting.
Don't know why, but Dan as the "leader is okay I guess.

Ozymandias is the leader of the meeting in the most recent script. Not sure if it's him or Dan in the movie.

This is likely a stupid question, but one I've been wondering for a while. This seems the right place to ask.

In Sally Jupiter's scrapbook there is a letter from her agent/husband talking about how Hooded Justice was having problems with the man he was dating, whose name is Nelly. Is it Nelson aka Captain Metropolis? Certainly Sally's comments about various Minutemen members being gay would support it but I've never been sure.

Thank you for confirming that. I never really clued into it until my third or fourth reading that was going on, and even then Iwasn't sure.
