Let's see....

I'm looking forward to all of the Marvel ones, maybe the Sony one and none of the Fox ones.

Honestly,

I am just taking whatever at this point... I just like hearing about the ideas, seeing the costumes, directions, negatives, positives, that go into making these massive projects. Years ago I'd be waiting eagerly for a film to come out (X2 and the original Spiderman movies being couple examples) but at this point not so much.

With that being said if I were tied up to a chair forced to pick one I'd say Wonder Woman. Logan looks good but Chris Claremont's criticism of the previous Wolverine film was spot on and I just feel like there hasn't been a total homerun lately with a Fox movie although some successes for sure. As for Gaurdians, bit quirky and like they're going for the retro 80's vibe more but still not totally up my alley. Thor bit of a mixed bag from what I can tell with previous installments and Spiderman has had a lot of attempts so far and the Justice League bit iffy on. WonderWoman exists moreso by itself and is something different with perhaps not a lot of compromisation after they learned a lesson from Suicide Squad somewhat maybe... It's kind of a wildcard moreso and is a new character on screen so will just say that one even though it's mainly a female character meets man thing going on seems bit lame but oh well.

As for television shows, I suppose Legion seems a bit different so will just say that one although I'm guessing Defenders will be the most kickbutt show I sort of have a feel for things Netflix related after watching some of the other shows. I am interested to read news on the other shows on freeform and hulu but it's more reading about them as opposed to being eager to sit and watch them at this point...

Overall, movies > television at this point in terms of looking forward to this specific year but television certainly has the most potential as technology increases to give us the episodic plot driven experience many of us have had reading comics in the past so that's something new I look forward to in the long run beyond just this year just seeing what direction things will take.

Spider-Man: Homecoming.
I'm still unsure about Vulture as the main villain, though.
I was hoping they'd go straight into Venom.

Guess we should add Inhumans into this, huh?

Seeing the stuff about Taika Waititi getting to cut loose and go crazy on Ragnarok has made me even more excited.

I've been waiting for Iron Fist for a very long time.

I want to say Spidey since he was my first superhero (and favorite to this day), but Vulture being the villain kills it a little since he's my least favorite bad guy.

Defenders is my runner up, but I have mixed feelings on some parts of the Netflix shows so I'm conflicted there too.

Voted Spidey in trust of my gut.

Logan's the only film I know that I'll probably see in theaters (though that could change if the reviews are middling/bad). Then Thor if it finally does something meaningful with the character and isn't overly dramatic. The other films I'll most likely skip (with GotG there's no question).

When it comes to the shows that's another matter. The Netflix ones so far have been a mixed bag, but still better than almost all of the MCU films. So Iron Fist, Punisher and Defenders all seem promising and I'll definitely watch them. Legion I'll also give a shot, even though I don't know if it'll be any good or not (FX mostly does generic TV outside of Sons of Anarchy).

I gotta believe that Thor 3 will lead more into IFW than Black Panther so I'm saying for 2017 my 2 must sees are Thor and GOTG.

Thor+ Hulk+ Strange+ Hela played by cate Blachett+ Taika waititi= the cure to depression :)

The Defenders, for me. I love a good team-up and it'll be great to see DD and JJ back in action as well as some more LC and IF. If The Punisher shows up in it, that'll be the icing on the cake.

Second would probably be Thor: Ragnarok. I'm really liking everything about this so far and with the cameos and what-not they're upping the fan-service levels.

Spider-Man: Homecoming. It's not only going to be the best Spider-Man movie, but the best MCU movie that will ever be made.

Vulture looks and sounds BA in this though...Plus Michael freakin' Keaton.
