If given the chance to turn one comic into a big movie franchise, which one would you do and how would you do it? Who would you cast, or who would you like to direct?

TWO WORDS - JUSTICE LEAGUE!

I would hire the team of Lost for the movie!

If DCE won't get use their major characters for a Justice League team, I'd get the group that had Booster Gold & Co and adapt a version of "Assault on Precinct 13". :woot:

World's Finest first, then Justice League. But don't rush it.

As for something rather unusual, I kind of want to see them do I...Vampire as an anti-Twilight type of film. Vampire falls in love with human girl, turns girl into vampire. Girl turns evil, now he has to stop her.

Actually bring on the batman ones, they don't necessary need to keep on making franchises for every superhero, and since it will be hard for anyone who pick up what Nolan has left off (reboot or not), making independent chapters for batman is an option~

I'd love to see Metal Men given a chance at the big screen. I think there is potential there.

Captain Marvel needs a movie, he's the closest character that can be associated to Superman.

Supergirl and the Legion of Super-Heroes

I'd go all out on a 50's sci fi aesthetic. I'd take the origin of the threeboot with the characters from the original legion

Either Supergirl or Power Girl, but definitely one of the Karas.

I know I don't post here very often but I love the DC characters and hope we get more quality movies in the future. If I was filmmaker the two propterties I would love to make a movie of would be Green Arrow and Teen Titans. I would also say Justice League of America but we all know that will be made in the next 5 years.

I would go of the grid and make Star Hawkins it could be a Blade like sleeper hit:o

Manhunter, as an adaptation of the first story arc of her series, "Street Justice." Starring Diane Lane as Kate Spencer and Paul Rudd as Dylan Battles. Directed by David Fincher.

And it would be awesome.

I wanna see The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman get their own films. Then do a Justice League film, and spin off Green Arrow, Hawkman, Martian Manhunter, and other characters.
But for actual storylines...I'd love to see KnightFall get a full film adaptation, as well as Superman: Doomsday and (if they decide to reboot Green Lantern) a much better adaptation of Secret Origins.

I'd like to do Justice League, three movies all in one sitting, like Lord of the Rings. With everyone reprising their roles from the solo movies.

But before that, I'd like to see Wonder Woman with Joss Whedon directing Jamie Alexander and Nathan Fillion as the leads and some A-lister like Bruce Willis or Gerard Butler as the villain.

Jack Kirby's 4th World.

:hrt:

I like Green Arrow; Plastic Man; Sgt. Rock; Slam Bradley; Unknown Soldier.

I'd do a version of Hawkman set in Egyptian times as an Epic War film.

Set the prologue in the time shortly before the pyramids were built with the arrival of Katar and Shayera with them providing the means for the civilization to flourish.

Post-credits come to post-pyramids and souped up Egypt with a peaceful civilization being established and Katar and Shayera being worshiped as living Gods. As usual nothing lasts forever and things go pear shaped with an invasion by the Thanagarians on Earth with Katar and Shayera siding with humanity.

I'd keep it grounded on Earth and instead of it just being a mindless war film, ensure that there's character development exploring the relationship of Katar and Shayera, the myth behind it and what actually seals their eventual doom.

I'd definitely include the Hath-Set arc in things, maybe linking it to the invasion and having it as a turn that takes place with him being allied to Katar and Shayera initially and then being seduced into betraying them.

I'd say a mix of a love story and war film really. Would definitely not call the film Hawkman however. It's a recipe for ridicule.

Dwayne Johnson as Captain Marvel.. it would be all out fantasy-action in Fawcett City and beyond.. an unknown kid can be Billy..

I’d forgo all the big gun A,B & C list characters, and leave those, to you big-shot directors here. ;)
And instead hold out for the absolute bottom, the Z list of DC's pantheon;
The HB created Super Friends!

And use this line up and cast...
Dawn of Justice Sunrise of the SuperFriends
