Probably the 90s. 2000 was great, the rest of the decade was a downer what with terrorism becoming so prolific.

I was healthier in the 90s and fairly ill in the 2000s perhaps that colours my opinion.

For pop culture, I.E. music / movies / tv, the 90's

For personal experience, the 2000's.

The 2000s sucked for me.

College was an awful experience. I never really fit in.
My mother died of lung cancer after she said things to me that I cant repeat here.
I was diagnosed as manic depressive.
I was diagnosed as having hyperlipidemia.
After graduation I was stuck in a dead end job for the rest of the decade.
The recession.
9-11.
The Iraq War.
Hurricane Katrina.

90's. Everything after they ended became so damn depressing.

Bloody hell, will someone invent a time machine already??!

The biggest American crisis of the 00's was 9/11. The biggest American crisis of the 90's was Bill Clinton getting a BJ.

Even second-tier crises of the 00s like Hurricane Katrina and the Lehman brothers financial collapse of '08 were infinitely worse than anything that happened in the 90's.

At least for America, the 00's were an infinitely more depressing, tumultuous and crappy time and we're still feeling its ripples of crappiness.

I wouldn't go that far, I enjoyed the 2000's.

We should all post our ages as well.

Personally, I prefer the 00's, but as a soon-to-be 30 year old, I remember far more of the 00's, so there's that.

90-95 was my favorite pop culture wise: The Simpsons were funny, BTAS was new, Kurt Cobain was all over the radio, college kids listened to Tribe Called Quest, Clinton was on Arsenio, SNL was funny, Wu Tang came on the scene, Pulp Fiction blew my mind, etc.

The only things missing were fast internet, smart phones, and the golden age of superhero movies.

2007-current was my favorite experience wise because this is when I met and have been with my wife. I always envisioned myself as a lone wolf but I can't deny having a family gives me purpose and fulfillment.

I admit, we shouldnt get too nostalgic for the 90s either. We had to deal with the Rodney King verdict, the OJ Simpson trial, the Oklahoma City bombing and Pauly Shore.

In life, I can't decide. I had my daughter during the 2000's, and had some good times and bad, but in the 90's as a kid did I did a lot of fun things.

Pop culture wise, the 90's were my favorite. Lots of good cartoons and TV shows, and then the hype that built up for the star Wars prequels. Regardless of how anyone feels about them, those were amazing times.

Dumb and Dumber soundtrack > Any pop culture from the 00s.

The early 00's was one of the worst. Granted I lived most of my young adult life during that era but 9/11 started off that decade on a horrible start.

Some of us are still recovering from that last one in some respects.
