2000's. The tail end of it set me on my present course. I loved it.

The 2000's were awful for one main reason:

9/11

It changed things for the worse. It caused a chain reaction that led to 2 wars, the worst recession ever, and a poisoned political climate.

The Matrix and Fight Club were the perfect ending to the 90's.

Now what?

The edgiest stuff we have now is Cap 2.

I'm still watching it though. :ninja:

It seems nostalgia sweetens the 90's and personal growth sweetens the present.

The 90s . I was still young and innocent.

In the 2000s I joined the Army months before 9/11. Went to war in Iraq , which would have later repercussions. My brother spent years in jail. Also numerous people I know passed away. Personally it's not a time I'm particularly fond of. I've made a lot of bad decisions also. However we live in an interesting time with technology and pop culture. This past decade might not be the best ever , but we have to keep moving forward

The golden age of superheroes is awesome.

A dream come true.

Just gotta pinch myself and smell the roses.

In the 90s I never would of thought we'd come this far with superhero movies. It's crazy

I admit, I do enjoy the hell out of the majority of the comic books and comic book movies that we got in the past decade.

It's good to see you're among the living

Pop culture wise: the 90s

Personally: the 2000s, late 2001 to 2006. Had a job (not a great job but a job nonetheless), money in my pocket, freedom to do what I wanted, and I actually had friends; went downhill in 2007.

lol what's the deal with this Paul Shore? Is he unpopular among the US audience and why?
Pauly Shore is an example of what happens when someone gets popular, and then becomes unpopular just as quickly.

The 90's! Here's why:

1. My wife is born in 1990.

2. Some of my favorite comic book movies were made (The Phantom, The Rocketeer).

3. Batman: The Animated Series.

4. Cartoon Network had better shows.

5. Live action TMNT movies.

6. Power Rangers.

7. I kicked a guy who bullied me in the balls (self defense). Didn't bully me anymore after that.

8. The Adventures of Sinbad on TV every saturday.

9. Terminator 2.

10. I got my first cat.

11. Better snacks and better candy.

12. Batman: the animated series (I know).

13. The public schools in my country were still Christian. With prayers, church and all that...

14. Super Nintendo.

15. Cooler toys.

Lived most of my life in the 2000s, but i can talk about pop culture, some people here are underestimating the 2000s and shouldn't get so stuck in the American 90s, on TV there were some masterpieces like Simpsons and Batman, however there were also mustiple bad ones that were just forgotten with time. And then, the 2000s also had such things as Sopranos, Lost, Mad Men and Breaking Bad.

When it comes to movies, Nostalgia takes the cake, you can still find plenty of great movies, if you want more like Fight Club then just go look at what David Fincher has been doing in this decade.

So, are you saying that edgyness = good?

I don't like Sopranos, Mad Men or Breaking Bad:( and I hate Dexter.

Here's more reasons why I love the 90's:

16. JAG

17. Playstation

18. Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.

19. Mask of Zorro, Disney's Tarzan, Disney's Hercules

Things I hate about the 90's:

1. Ugliest clothes ever.

2. Stupid and ugly comics like Spawn.

3. Horrible music.

Please stop it, I am reminded of my long gone childhood and an awesome era of animated cartoons that will never be again :csad:

He was a speed bump on the road to good comedy.

We're a bit hard on him but he wasn't that bad if you were like 12, 13 years old and your sense of humor was that of a 6 year old.
