Which one got you more excited for the movie, the Prologue (+sizzle reel), or trailer 2 ??
Almost the entire sizzle reel was in the trailer apart from the shot of Batman speeding on Bat-Pod, Kyle going to jail, Catwoman at prison cell, and a quick overhead shot of the police running forward to take on mercs.I found the sizzle reel more "exciting". The second trailer surprised me, though... it had narrative, which is something I appreciate, but I'm not especially thirsty for until closer to the film. Scenes in the trailer looked kind of cool, and how it illuminated the story and the grim feel of the film was great, but the sizzle reel was just a plethora of ****-worthy scenes which is what I've been anticipating for a while. That was just "Batman's back, and better than ever!"
Actually, the sizzle reel also had what IMO was a better looking shot of Batman hitting Bane, a better looking shot of Batman with his new gadget, it had the broken cowl shot in the sewers, a badass shot of Bane denotating some explosives, Bane slowly strolling with his hands gripped to his trenchcoat (like a boss), what you mentioned, and it was also preceded by the amazing prologue sequence. Overall I was excited more by what I saw there than the trailer, sorry.Almost the entire sizzle reel was in the trailer apart from the shot of Batman speeding on Bat-Pod, Kyle going to jail, Catwoman at prison cell, and a quick overhead shot of the police running forward to take on mercs.
