Which Films Would You Completely "Reimagine"?

What movie would I re-imagine?
Weekend at Bernie's
Have Bernie become a flesh-crazed zombie, and they're still trying to act like he's a normal human being. :D

Anyway, Jaws 2; two sharks. That simple.

I'd take a different path on that one - instead of trying to convince an audience that ANOTHER big white shark is going to attack the SAME island and cause grief for the SAME family (the Brodys), why not catch up with Hooper aboard the Aurora? I mean, it was his job to observe sharks in the first place - seems to me there'd be at least a tad more logic in him ending up in the thick of more. Plus, instead of relegating themselves to great whites - howzabout some tigers, bulls, hammerheads, etc.?

Sounds AWESOME!!!
That should have been the second film.

Matrix 2/3 - I'm not really sure if it would be two movies, there would definitely be no more matrixes. Neo would be showing people that the real world isn't possible by flying/stopping bullets/leaping across buildings. Also teaching Trinity and Morpheus how to stop bullets/fly, expand their minds, make them immortal in the matrix and Smith would not come back, the Matrix would obviously send someone powerful after these people, but it would not be Smith, his story ended in the first movie. Finally, we'd see Zion, but it would be very run down and beat up, nothing like what we actually saw, more like a rebel base from Star Wars, very duck tape job.

Gentlemen! Gentlemen! *Tries to calm Kevin and Jochimus* :woot:

Let's not worry about JAWS 2, it was actually the best sequel of the bunch! What are we going to do about..... :wow: JAWS: The Revenge!

I'd like to re-imagine The Wizard of Oz. I'd use Jim Henson's studio and go with all practical effects and extremely detaile puppets, except for most of the main cast, with some CGI parts for anything that's not possible with puppets.

For dorothy, I'd want someone who is older portraying someone younger(like Judy Garland, but less age difference) Scarecrow would be a man in make-up, Tin Man would be a puppet, and I'd make him very skinny and very tall with lots of gears, cogs, bolts screws, etc., I'd want him to look like works on clock-work. As for Lion I'd have someone in a detailed suit, but the facial expressions would be controlled by puppeteers.

I'd love to explore Oz alot more than in the original movie did, and come up with cool new concepts for locations. Some places would be bright and vibrantly colored, while others would have a lot of earth tones, and I'd try to make each new place or scene as visually different from the last as I could. I'd also want it to seem like it took several days, because to me, the original it seems like they got to the Emerald City way too fast. The whole movie would be about two hours long or more.

I'd also make it just a tad bit darker, but not too dark. I'd still want it to apeal to kids.

SUPERMAN RETURNS

The film is good as it is, but I still think it had far more potential.

Things to change:
-Go with the original concept; the world hates Superman for leaving. How shocking would it be if everyone booed when Superman landed the plane in the stadium?
-Lex Luthor has set up LexCorp while Superman was gone. Lex Luthor rubs this in Superman's face.
-Lex Luthor's plan needs to be executed better. No-one can live on a barren rock, and how would he defend himself? The kryptonite island would just be his way of getting rid of Superman. It should be made clear that he plans to make islands with a habitable terrain. Also, show Lex used the 'advanced alien technology' against the military to establish that this is a proper threat. And for gods sake, the effect on Metropolis needs to be more than a little tremor! Metropolis needs to be devestated by New Krypton's growth.
-Recast Lois Lane.
-Put all the farm scenes back in. We need more insight into how Superman feels about how the world has changed.
-Put the Return to Krypton sequence back in. All that money spent and wasted. It was also what fans wanted to see.
-Fleischer colours for Superman's suit. In fact the movie should look like a living fleischer cartoon.
-Lighten up the tone! This film did poorly because the kids were more excited about Pirates of the Caribbean, and I can't say I blame them. SR was not a film for kids, which is insane because Superman is the ultimate fun for all the family.
-Less make-up for Routh. He looked like a porcelain doll. He also looks more adult and more like Superman without it.
-See Superman saving people around the world, more than just a few news reports. His power is phenomenal. Not only is just staying in Metropolis selfish, it looks ridiculous when everything happens in Metropolis. The growth of New Krypton would devastate the UK and have some affect on Africa, too.
-And i'd lose the kid subplot. It works, but personally I wouldn't use it.

miss congeiality
a composite of the two movies with grace failing her original assignment when a well intentioned pageant employee ,unaware grace is a federal agent but knowing she's not an original contestant ,exposed her to the public forcing the pagent to be cancelled and grace becomes infamous for"causing "the pagents demise following that she makes the talk show circuit to explain the situation and clear her and the FBI's good name

...Why would you even want to remake that movie..?

Yeah, considering how bad the second one is (well it's a guilty pleasure of mine, but I know a lot of other people hate it), would be a good idea to re-do that one with the zombie idea, it'd be hilarious....or maube get all the people back and do a third with a zombie Bernie :D

How about: Weekend At Bernies III: Return of the King XDDD

A more faithful adaptation of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"

Very good idea, but I wouldn't go for that because Hooper is trained to deal with the sharks, and would have a team with him. Anyway, after what happened in the first movie, why would he ever go near a shark again?

It's more dramatic if Brody, on his own this time, has to rescue his own son from two great whites. Less logical than your suggestion certainly, but more exciting, no?

It's okay, we weren't arguing.

Anyway, Jaws: The Revenge....y'know, I'm sitting here stumped as to what would make a good Jaws 4. I really like the Brodys, but to have them repeatedly encounter sharks is silly.

So, in this case, I say go with Jochimus' idea of following Hooper, but have him terrified of sharks now, and being forced into joining an expedition for some reason, which is then attacked by sharks. Thus Hooper, like Quint before him, turns into an Ahab figure.

Naw, a reimagine is a movie that is a remake but has nothing to do with the original.

a Remake is a movie that is just like the original but ****ty.
Exactly.

CAH

Sounds good by not have Lex use the alien tech to create everything from weapons to everyday items. Since he would have Lex he could give up on the whole land thing which is stupid. I like the idea of people booing Supes.

the Resident Evil movies...I would make them like the f**king games :o

The Spy Who Loved Me.

Now I liked the movie but after reading the book (and it was not a good of a bond story as the others) i felt that there was a story in it that could be made into a movie, but not without some changes.

We start out in a safe house with James Bond who has to protect a defector Vivienne Michel. After the safe house is hit Vivienne goes on the run. M sends Bond after her because she has information that she had taken with her before the hit. But Bond isn’t alone because the people that she worked for have sent two hitmen; Sluggsy and Horror after her.
Bonds job is made harder when Sluggsy and Horror get the Adirondack Mountains resort that Vivienne has hid out at before him. Bond must play a cat and mouse game with the two killers and get to Vivienne before they do.

This would change most things for the book and use nothing from the movie. Mostly making it about Bond but still keeping most story elements from the book.

the lou ferigno HERCULES MOVIE
in my version when herc defeated king menos he and cassiopea[sp] escaped through a glowing door that leads to another world
OUR modern day world
now the two must decide whether to return to THIER world or stay in ours where hercules sees that he's needeed HERE as well:ninja:

I'd re-imagine every single cheesy, worst-they-could-find movie on Mystery Science Theater 3000. That is, if MST3K hadn't already re-imagined them first.
