2018 suit looks like it's the under part of the cw suit's top. even though it's obviously not, like something is "missing"
I love them both (or at least from the glimpse of the 2018) but I prefer the 2018.
It's sleeker and subtle like a panther skin. The one from CW always seemed to "heavy" for Black Panther, even the first time I saw it. I always felt it was a bit like a batman armor, while I thought Black Panther needed something sleeker, meaner, thiner, faster. So to speak.

So unless I'm mistaken, this is the CW suit. I'm guessing that BP wears it at the beginning of the film and then refines it to get the new suit.
I think the 2016 costume is better in general, but the new one seems friendlier or at least more human, which could be good given the movies' different approaches. In Civil War he's on a quest for vengeance and at least to me an antagonist, and in Black Panther he's meant to be the hero.
looks that way to me, which is what mcu tends to do with Iron man costumes as in one costume from a prior movie gets brought into the next movie only to be replaced by a new costume![]()

I mean we can bend over backwards to create in-universe rationales but we all know that this is just a case of new costume because they need to make new toys,My guessses are that the CW suit is shown in a flashback, or it's possible there are different suits for different reasons? Like the CW Suit is designed for travel, and the 2018 is for when he's in Wakanda...maybe each suit has its own strengths/weaknesses?
I like the helmet of CW but the bodysuit of 2018
he didn't let Zemo live, he sentenced him to lifeIf they're sticking with who the character should actually be he's not going to be a traditional hero. Even Boseman has said T'Challa is an anti-hero in a lot of ways.
In fact the one problem I have with his portrayal in Civil War was him letting Zemo live. The T'Challa in the comics would have killed that guy.
he didn't let Zemo live, he sentenced him to life
but here Zemo wanted and intended to die but BP considered that too easyHe's alive, and that's not something the comic book version would do. Black Panther's are actually big on Vengeance and have no problem killing, especially if the person harmed Wakanda or it's royal family. In both the original origin and the revamped one from 05 T'Challa does everything he can to kill Klaw for murdering his father.
T'Challa will go out of his way to find a peaceful resolution to things, but when it comes to his homeland and his family he's one of the more ruthless characters in all of comics. What makes him so interesting is watching him walk that line.

fair enoughYeah, I know how it was written. I'm saying that was out of character for Black Panther.
He didn't even take him and put him into a Wakandan prison, he just turned him over to Ross.
Again, I know how they wrote it, but that's not how the character would have gone about that in the comics. T'Challa has NO Problem killing.
