Which is the better Black Panther costume?

I'm warming up to it. Admittedly we need a better shot of him with the mask on and the lenses down.

Hopefully itblooks much better once the lense fx are completes. Plus it Will look much better once we see it in the movie/ next trailer/ new pics which Will have it properly lit and all.

The thing about the new mask is that it's really designed to look feline/pantherish, as opposed to the CW Mask, which aside from the ears, doesn't look pantherish, but intimidating AF!

The body is definitely better on the new suit. I recall with the CW suit, there were shots before the film that didn't do the suit justice once the film and production were complete.

As of right now I still have to go with the CW Black Panther suit. Even when it was non-CGI it's just as good. I don't know why it got so CGI in the movie. It didn't need to be.

I like the new suit but I need to see how it looks on film to really give my opinion on it.

The CGI made the suit pop and the Russos wanted the vibranium weave to have a special sheen to it. Also, the stunt suit had a much larger helmet and they used CGI to make it look like the regular cowl.

It was a stupid decision by the visual effects department. They were just supposed to add "luminescence" to the suit and make the helmet slimmer, but all on their own decided "Hey why don't we just make a fully CGI Panther".

I generally do prefer the Civil War suit, but the new mask looks a lot more like an actual panther, so that aspect alone gives it some points in my book.

If we're talking from a purely aesthetic perspective, the Civil War design is still my favorite at this point. Functionality-wise though, the new one wins.

CW suit is more intricate, practical befitting live-action imo. 2018 is great also but more comic bookish. I prefer the former.

Exactly. I prefer the CW suit by a mile. I very much prefer the more intricate design, and the cowl is a million times better. I understand why they made the mask more cat-like, but I still don't like it more than the CW version. And don't get me started on the neon blue when the suit is "activated" or whatever. That's just an odd aesthetic choice in my opinion.

I still prefer the CW suit but the new costumes are growing on me. I'm glad to see BP having so many options to choose from, depending on need and situation. However, it looks like he went back to CW suit for IW though.

The suit in IW is the new movie suit...but with The Russo's alterations like how they did in Civil War.

It's supposed to be purple, and it's something taken from some of the most recent comics.

The vibranium in the suit is able to absorb, store, and release kinetic energy. When energy is released from Vibranium it has the purple color.

Wow, they look totally different side-by-side.

The 2018 feels more even overall. The focus on markings on the torso in the 2016 one with none on the legs is kinda odd to me. Only thing I'd change about 2018 is removing the muscle mold.

Weird right? I didn't even notice there was a change in the BP trailer.

The civil war suit has a better mask and I prefer the more detailed chest. The new one is good too just not quite as good as the CW suit.
