Which is the better Black Panther costume?

Alright so here's the deal with the BP suit in Civil War. It's all CGI.

Yes a real suit was made but it was replaced in the final product. The suit they made is a lot more rough.

The new suit is simplified and is also real. Unless they plan to add things in post, the suit we see is what we get. None of that CGI BP unless required. The CGI BP in civil war clearly has size issues. It makes the actor look much bigger then he is and that's not a good thing. We get bobble head Tony Stark airport scene.



The new suit I think look better but I need more footage. I like having less silver. Now I am surprised the chest has no pattern there. It does feel like a blank canvas.

I think we come to expect something thanks to Iron Man and Cap.

Now I do like he looks more like a real Panther man. Personally think it's Marvels first real Superhero costume. It's not gear that happens to have a unique design or someone splashing on vibrant colors. This is not a soldiers costume. `Though this film in general just has great costumes.

Because its mostly CGI is why I think the CW BP look won't age as well. Even look at some shots recently it was almost cartoony.

Is there any reason they couldn't make a real, non-CGI version of the Civil War suit? As compared to the new suit.

I have mixed feelings on the new suit...I like how slick and real it looks but I miss the proportions, and especially the cowl, of the Civil War suit. I also think the intricate designs on the suit looked more impressive.

Yeah, I'm gonna miss it dearly. I would have preferred if they took the old cowl and toned down the silver/etchings and made the texture match the new suit instead of the new ugly cowl.

The suit looks better the helmet is a big step backwards IMO.

The civil War helmet was MUCH more intimidating. The new Helmets eyes seem to be too big and I don't like how it looks like the Panther has it's mouth open in the front.

Concept art, the suit looks beautiful and the eyes are smaller and sharp but the real mask, the lenses Will cover the whole eye socket/ space if only they change it in.post but I doubt it

There maybe a chance. The suit at D23 didn't have the lenses, maybe because they are going to be cgi.

The one thing I really don't like about Marvel is the fact that majority of the suits look like they were made from the same material, we finally got a sick new material/texture with the CW BP design and now they've stripped him of it...
And the new mask looks so weird. I get wanting to make it look like a panther but damn..

I wouldn't say there were no improvements. The new suit looks much sleeker than the previous one. It's just that the helmet looks so off. If the eyes were smaller and it didn't have their weird open cat mouth thing it'd be great, but as is it almost looks like a teddy bear head or worse yet a power rangers helmet.

You're crazy if think the new suit looks worse. It looks just as good. If you have problems with the mask, fine. But the suit is awesome.
