Which Marvel hero who hasn't been in a movie would you most like to see?

^ I thought you were gonna say strange. I'd like to see a Dr Strange movie too, but didn't they say something along the lines of him being more of a mid-level budget or something? They would have certain charcters they'd spend around 70-80mil on, he being one of them, sure they did.

That is a lot of crap, they should be giving him a 150mil budget the same as Thor and Cap. The movie will be a half asser if they give it a low budget, people are very well versed in what a 'wizard' movie can consist of thanks to Harry Potter, it could easily feel like the an extended pilot ep of a tv show in comparison.
Hell, Thor kind of felt that way a lot of the time at 150mil.

and of course, it should not feel like a Harry Potter film at all, no quirky crap, it has to be the serious, dark tale of a cold, emotionless, egomaniacal Medical Doctor, who loses his skills, and is humbled, who then learns to be somone honourable through his practice of the mystic arts.
It would be so easy for a mid-level budget film of this nature to feel like a 90s superhero film too, like the Shadow, but not even looking that good.

The general audience did not have a clue who Thor was either, that was sold on the trailers and the 'from the makers of Iron-Man' advertising. Just follow the same formula, cast some good looking guy, who does not cost much to hire, in the lead role, a couple of famous people in the supporting cast, and do this for full budget, 150mil. Otherwise it will be a real half assed disapointment.

I don't know about that bum; I think you could do the sorcerer supreme justice with a $90 million budget. It all boils down to hiring a visionary who could really exploit those resources and make them pop on an epic scale.

Like a Guillermo Del Toro who's Hellboy movies in their execution look like they cost double what they actually cost. Or a Neil Blomkamp who's District 9 also seems like something that was made with a budget 3 times the cost of what the actual budget was.

Yeah, true, I guess one thing Marvel would have to forego is the marquee names, like Evans, Portman, Hopkins etc, because as far as I know(I haven't seen D9 yet), those movies did not feature any big expensive names that might bring in a curious general audience.

It's just...aye, thor felt like it's budget, so if you got one of those penny pinchers, lol, who can make it look like more, I'd rather give them the 150mil, and get in some big names, to try and guarantee a big hit, and y'know, the penny pinchers could make it look like a 200mil film.

So, aye, we'll see what happens, I just don't like the thought of non-avenger Marvel films getting the short end of the stick budget wise, when they could draw in blockbuster profits with more investment. they are gonna bring in a lot of dough from avengers, as well as the IM, Thor and Cap sequels, they should not be stingy about the other characters.

It looks like a lot of people want Black Panther. I'd really like that too.

Rick Jones! He should be the Couslon connecting the movies in Marvel's second wave.

It is weird how Rick Jones is every Marvel heroes friend but hasn't been in a single Marvel movie.

Not really. In many ways he's the closest thing Marvel has to a classic kid sidekick. And since no one involved really wants to invoke that trope. . .

I see what you're saying but if anything,I think he really should be in a movie featuring the Hulk. BTW,wasn't be Captain Marvel (Mar-vell ?) at some point?

I still really, really want a Moon Knight film. Moon Knight is so ****ing badass

Yeah, but not in any concept-critical manner. I'm really doubtful Marvel Studios would go for the body switching, they seem to be stripping out a lot of the random silver age "weird weakness" stuff.

Mar-Vell, as he's my second favorite hero after Cap. The blond red and dark blue costume version naturally. Probably won't happen for a loooong time but one could dream.

Just extend this into 2hrs by adding a few cg Bay explosions and you have a summer blockbuster!

For Avengers sequel, Black Panther would get my vote. I thought about Giant-Man and Wasp but then you'll have to get rid of a few characters or the plot would be too congested. Maybe a origin movie starring these two would be best.

For solo movie, I'd like to see a Moon Knight movie because he's sort of like Marvel's version of Batman. Power Man/Ironfist action comedy a la Rush Hour would be cool too. I nominate Rampage Jackson and Jay Chou for the role. :)

Adam Warlock. His 70s solo books are absolute magic.

Thats almost too good a line-up. I would **** a ton of bricks if Moon Knight and Dr. Strange were coming out within a year of each other.

I hope Disney decides to do this but knowing Disney they might decide just focus on The characters that they have now. Disney is all about the short term money.

I was just thinking, would Moon Knight namely be "too adult" for a Disney/Marvel movie? I mean with Marc Spector being a former mercenary, a schizophrenic and facing some of the sickos he's fought in the comics, would he be at risk of not reaching his full potential on screen?

1. Dr. Strange
2. Vison
3. Black Bolt
4. The Watcher
5. A "real" Galactus
6. Sentinals
7. Kraven The Hunter
8. Giant Man
9. Namor
10. Hercules (Thor 2)
